So as to not offend the characters I need a lesson on their names, can you help?

Last year I was the only one in a small group that recognized Smee, everybody thought he was a dwarf! He was excited when I called him by name. I know the "big time" characters ( I have a 4 year old boy) but sometimes I don't recognize the "lesser known" ones. This time I am determined to be better "educated" on the not so recognizable characters. Please give me some tips... what are their names? what movie are they from? and what do they look like? THANKS

Meeko is a racoon from Pochahontas. Other than that, I don't know which ones you'll have trouble with! Of Chip and Dale, Chip has the black nose, Dale the reddish one...

The Character Index from my web site should help. It has an alphabetical listing of most of the characters that appear at WDW, plus a picture of each character and a little bit about them and what movie they are from. Hope this is what you're looking for.

one of the funniest things I heard was when it was the white rabbit from Alice and someone thought it was Roger Rabbit..lol

but I'm slowly beginning to confuse Smee and Gephetto...they both haev gray hair

but one that most people don't know is Gideon...everytime we see him we always call him by name so he can feel special :)

Last year at AK opening, my husbabnd went up to Goofy and called him Pluto (unknowingly). Well, Goofy chased him all over the place and made quite the scene. It was great and my kids loved it!!

Who is Gideon? A couple ways to tell Smee and Gepetto apart are that Smee is fat, Gepetto is not, and Smee is wearing a blue and white striped shirt.

Gideon and Foulfellow a.k.a Honest John are the two scoundrels that convince Pinocchio to skip school and decide " An Actors Life for Me". Gideon is the large cat and foulfellow is the fox.

I think Gepetto has a brown apron if I remember right. Smee is terribly short and round where Gepettpo is quite tall and thin.

Here are the three that I alway get either confused or just plain wrong. They are the three female mice from Cinderella. There is
Perla. Susie, and Blossom??? I think the third one is blossom anyway. Perla is in Pink, Susie is in Teal and Blossom is  yellow  I checked the character index on the link up above and there is a pictire of Blossom? next to Suzie. May I add "What a wonderful site" That must have taken some enormouse amount of time and effort. CHEERS !!

There was one outside of AK yesterday that I had to ask who he was. Not having any little ones in my life. He was Stanley.

/
Stanley I'd have known, but I met Suzie twice before realizing that she actually had a name. I remembered Jaq and Gus from Cinderella, but never realized the other mice were addressed by name!

Meeko--that's a great site of yours :)

I've used it to make an autograph book for my little ones
(ok, ok, I'll admit it--and to make a Villain one for me :) )

Thanks for the post... I need a little help too. And thanks for the site meeko!

First of all, thank you so much for your compliment. I am so glad you all like it. :)

As for Cinderella's mice, they are very confusing since most of them are never called by name in the film. According to Dave Smith, the keeper of the Disney archives, the only only girl mouse identified in the film's final script is Suzy who is the one who first comes up with the idea that all the mice can sew Cinderella's dress for the ball ("We can do it, we can do it; We can help our Cinderelly"). In the film she wears a yellow dress, which she is pictured in on the Character Index site. Perla and Blossom are not identified, so no one knows which mice they are in the film. In the theme parks, however, Perla is identified as wearing a pink and purple dress and Suzy in blue. These colors, in recent years, have also been used for those two characters in merchendise as well. Blossom, however, does not appear in the park or in merchendise, so a color was never really asigned to her. Is everyone confused now? ;)

I called chip n' dale squirrels by mistake and they made a big ruckus and had me stand in the corner.

My DD7 was hysterical with laughter :)

When we saw Milo from Atlantis at MGM, he made a big fuss over my kids when they called him by name. No one was in line for him and my kids went over to him and said hi Milo. He was really happy and talked with them for quite a bit. You can also find his friend Vinny and Pricess Kida there!
