so any reports of how bad the crowds are right now?

Thinking of heading over either tomorrow night or Saturday night to see the Christmas stuff and parade. Didn't make it at the beginning of Dec. Wondering how bad the crowds are or you think they will be these next two days?

I've been following a thread over on Orlando United and watching the apps. The early Christmas crowd was OK for Christmas. The 27-29 was packed. This pictures was posted on Orlando Informer on the 29th at 10:30 a.m.

You've got to scroll down but Touring plans Seth Kubersky was there on the 29th and tweeted about the day. https://twitter.com/touringplans . That seems to have been the worst day of the season. I'm flying in and going tomorrow. So, we know crowd levels will be at an 11.

Thanks for the link. Probably will be trying Sat late afternoon or early evening. Hoping it will be starting to thin by then. Not really worried if we can't ride much we have AP just want to be able to mingle around.

I'm not too worried about tomorrow either. The rest of my trip is the end of next week. I'm mainly going to see the Christmas stuff and ride Popeye before it goes down for refurb. With Saturday being the first day power passes are out of Blackout I'm not sure which day will be less crowded.

I went on the 27th, morning wasn't too bad (we went early, got to the gate at 7AM... we didn't have early entry but they allowed us to walked back to Diagon Alley (staggered, stopping at various points), to be let in around 8ish). It got crazy around 11AM and lines
shot up to crazy levels.

I'm a local so I don't normally go this time of year, but we had family from out of town, and I guided them through the park.

What I learned from the experience for the ultra busy days was to go early, and have lunch around 11:30 and leave for a bit to come later in the evening.
