How difficult is it to add a night to a DVC reservation? I am booked for nights of January 4-8, check out the 9th with current plan being to take all 18 of us to train in Anaheim to San Diego, walk to hotel from station (group includes little kids including a 2 mo old) so all the strollers and seats and etc. for the night. Then figure out how to get said group to Sea World and back the next day, spend another night and do a few close San Diego things (Seaport Village and Midway) then BACK to train station which would take us to Fullerton station to get on our LD train home. Whew.
I see on the DL borad about GrayLine tours that pick you up take you to SeaWorld and back the same same day and this is looking like A LOT less hassle and drama. So, to do this I would need to add on the night of Jan 9 so as not to miss any DL days which no one wants to do. Is this a problem? Would they have to cancel the reservations to do this? I wish I'd thought of this earlier and now availablility will be hard. What would be the best way to proceed?

It's easy - if there is availability for what you need. :)

Just call MS and if it's available, MS can book the last night for you and add it to your existing reservation. If not, you can waitlist and hope for the best.

Good luck!

P.S. You can also go online via the Members' website and book the night yourself if it's available. But if you are successful, you'll need to call MS to combine the reservations so that you don't end up having to get new keys between the reservations, or worse yet, having to change rooms.

Wow..worked great! I was amazed 3-1 bedrooms and 1 studio were still available for the extra night :)

Some people just live right, I guess!

Congratulations - happy for you. :)
