I'm bummed I missed the LMT deal, but we're not going until Sept. It would have saved us quite a bit:headache:
This is an ultra budget trip:thumbsup2

Concerning the 5 for 3 park hopper tickets the DL site says
"Tickets may only be purchased between March 16, 2010 and September 1, 2010 and are valid for theme park admission from May 1, 2010 through September 30, 2010."

Does anyone know for certain if that means this deal will be available until Sept 1? That's what it sounds like to me:confused3

I certainly know that if park visitation goes up dramatically they may cut the offer off short. I also know if it goes down they may extend it.

gonna threadjack for a minute here, sorry.

We are going on september 13th. we are getting our tickets at the ITT on base before we go. however, those aren't real tickets they are just vouchers for tickets. if we go to the gate on the 13th with those, will they not give us the 5 for 3 because it's after the first? or will it count if we buy the voucher before the first? It didn't say anything about a cutoff date to BUY them on the ITT website, and we just changed our whole trip so we could get this deal.

I know nothing about military tickets, but the 5 for 3 tickets are only available online. I read that fine print because I was hoping to apply GAD vouchers...doesn't look like that's possible. Might be worth a phone call to see how your vouchers work.

I appreciate the heads up from the PP that the promo can end early. I didn't know that was a risk. Better get tickets sooner rather than later.

It SHOULD mean that the deal is available until then. I know another poster said they could change the dates due to crowd numbers, but it would seem to me that once they've posted the dates on their website (and other public media), that they would be legally obligated to follow through. I've never noticed any kind of disclaimer on any Disneyland media that says they reserve the right to change promo dates. But, you never know, so if it were me, I'd call Disneyland Customer Service and ask.

I don't THINK the dates will change--no one KNOWS but I think that would be unusual.

However, Disney increases prices sometimes, generally in August. I believe one-day/one-park admission jumped by $3 in August 2009, with other prices following suit. If that happens, I think it's at least somewhat likely that your discount prices will jump too (you'll still get 5 days for the price of 3, but those 3 days will be maybe $5 more expensive per ticket).

I don't tend to buy travel insurance (especially since I'm not flying!) so I tend not to buy my tickets until the last possible moment. But if you have a large party going, it might be worth it to "lock in" your price now or before August. Or even buy one as you save the money, then buy a second later, etc.

Have a great trip!

I just bought the 5 for 3 tickets at Safeway. They are good until Sept. 30th, but must be purchased by Sept.1st.

Even with the price jump last year, the 5 for 3 tickets price didn't change until the promotion was over. I highly doubt Disney would (or even could) cut it short since it's specifically stated you can purchase tickets until Sept. 1.

I'm going to hijack for a second...

If you purchase tickets from Disneyland.com do they send you tickets in the mail or what?

Good to know! So it's probably fine to wait.

I believe you can pay to have them mailed but most often you are given an "E-ticket" to print out. Just take that to the gate; they'll scan your paper, give you a ticket, and you're in!

(If you don't have your print-out you should be able to go to a ticket booth and get the ticket like will-call. This happened to me when I filled in an incorrect address for our tickets. :headache: We did eventually get them but it took quite a while; probably at least 15-20 minutes, and there was no line!)

We have 6 day park hopper e-tickets, and we are heading down on Wednesday. Can you add a day to that when you get down there? If so, does anyone know how much it would be?

Specifically they can change the terms of a deal if they want.

"All offers, events, tickets, age ranges, services, attractions and entertainment may be seasonal and are subject to change without notice. "

The quote if from the bottom of this link.

Thanks for the clarification!

GEEZ!! It kind of sucks that they can do that....

DLR doesn't have anything (for US residents) between a 6 day ticket and an Annual Passport. Such a pain.

Thanks for the info! I guess we will just have to pace in front of the gates until Thursday!:rotfl: I guess there is always shopping!

But you're Canadian. I know that you could have bought 7 day tickets from flightcentre.ca. What I don't know is whether you can upgrade your 6 day tickets to 7 days on site. You might call Disney and ask, though.

Otherwise, just upgrade to DAP's! :upsidedow
