Hi: I have a snowwhite and dopey wishingwell snow globe, all the water has evaporated. Where do I find the plug to refill it?

Deb.

It's usually between the glass globe and the base. It's hidden and I would imagine very hard to take apart and put back together without damage.

Hi: Hubby took it apart and the music box mechanism was all rusty but he could not find the part that fills water into the globe. It had a crack in the bottom of the globe in the plastic so the water must have leaked out slowly.

Well rats. I always thought that is where it would be found. Now I'm not sure where it would be.

I was just reading that snow globe makers add glycerin to the water so the glitter/snowflakes fall slower. Anywhere from a tsp. to a cup of it.
Interesting.

Still haven't figured out where the plug is on the Disney snowglobes though.

I would contactg Disney and let them know maybe they will send you a new one

This happened to 2 of my globes over the years. 2 of my favorite of course. After much research, I came to the conclusion that the only way to properly fix them was to have them fixed professionally, which was not cheap. If you put your own water in, it is likely to mold after time. Maybe you will have better luck than I have finding your answer. I have an amazing Peter Pan globe that it totally bums me out that it has no water. My other is a Sleeping Beauty with the double globe. Totally stinks! Good luck!

Yes, this one is my favorite as well. Its just that we pay so much for these things, I thought they would last a long time.
