First snowfall of the season. It looks like a winter wonderland out there  We have about 2" on the ground, the trees are all coated. I LOVE snowfalls like this. Predictions are up in the air but I have read anywhere between 5-18" :lmao: We will see when it is all said and done.

I wonder if that will end up coming to Michigan? Not quite ready for the white stuff seeing we have been having temps in the 70s!!

A couple of days earlier and you wouldn't have had to shave your legs!

Actually I think I'd rather have what you are having, we are having rain and sleet with supposed "periods of snow" but I haven't seen any yet. I hate sleet.

We were in the 70's earlier this week.

It was supposed to start out with rain/freezing rain/sleet but it was mostly snow-a few minutes of rain then it turned to snow. DD and her friends walked over to one friend's house last night at about 11:00pm and when they started walking it was raining, by the time they got to her house (4 blocks away) it was snowing. I have been trying to find DD's camera to take a picture because it is so pretty but I can't find it in the pig sty :lmao:.

I took some pictures with my phone (it doesn't take very good pictures) but here they are:

KEEP IT OVER THERE! it's too early for snow here in MD yet, so don't even think of sharing!

This winter storm will be staying to our north and west. :(

I'd much rather have snow today than rain...I can't wait for our first snowfall. It's so beautiful!

It's lighter out now so here is another one:

So so so pretty!!

FL girl here who dreams of the snow (but not the cold!). I hope you stay warm!

thanks for the pics!

I miss snow- haven't been back there in 3 years.

was in WA so "kinda" had snow and now in TX so NO SNOW at all

I miss being able to go out in it and have a snowball fight with the kids, NOT the driving in it, or should I say dodging other drivers:rotfl:

DD had a couple friends sleep over last night and they had a snowball fight at midnight last night. I already told DS15 that we WILL be going to driving so they can get some practice in the snow (they have their permits). I will take them to an empty parking lot to start and to try to skid so they can learn how to correct for that.

Don't bring this white stuff across the border here to WI.

Too Late!!! lol...but I'm on the Twin Cities side of Wisconsin, so maybe it won't go all the way across the state...my neighborhood looks like Golfgals..:lmao:

My poor birch tree:

PLEASE keep it there. Please.

It's very pretty. I hope it stays well to the north. ;)

Last year we had enough snow to last me a lifetime. Snow is great, it's the no power and no heat that generally goes along with it around here that I can't stand.

I live in the twin cities too.

We are on a hill near a pretty busy road. I have NEVER seen so many cars get stuck trying to make it up the incline (and it is not that steep!). It's REALLY icy over here in the west metro. :sad2: I'm glad it's Saturday, so less cars on the road.

I wish we could move to Florida! :beach:

North metro
I've been humming "let it snow" all morning. :lmao:
The wind picks up a bit for awhile, looks like a swirling snow globe.
I love this type of snow storm, get a nice starting layer for the season.

Here's hoping for a snowy winter this season instead of a bitter cold one :thumbsup2

It's pretty icy here too. Our neighbors got stuck in their driveway-snow and ice both.
