Snow-Wigd and the Christmas Elves, a December pre-trip!

Oh, Anita, I looked up points for Beach Club for my proposed December dates. Did you know that December 18 through 24 is considered Choice Season and it is only 106 points for a studio then??? Just sayin' and all. ;)

Marc, my Magic 8 ball reads, "Most likely" when I ask it if you and Wigd want to make another Christmas trip. :rotfl:

LL, it would be so pretty and much cooler in December, and all that Christmas theming would be gorgeous. I have never seen Cinderella's Castle all decked out in the ice lights.

I say go for it! You know, do something different for your vacation. Chelsea will have a 16th birthday after all. ;)

I think a Christmas trip is a great tradition that you all should continue for 2011....cause that's when MY Marc and I are planning to go at Christmas. :santa::rolleyes1

2011 would be a good year for a Christmas trip as well because we would have another full week between when we get out of school and Christmas. We have to be home for Christmas. I am liking the idea of traveling to Disney when the weather is less stifling. I would still like it to be warm enough for swimming.

I just can't get excited about July weather. Everytime I think about it, I can almost feel my shirt sticking to me with sweat.

I think Marc & I would have to be home for Christmas too....I think our parents would mutiny if we weren't.

I don't blame you. I went in July in 2005 and it was not pleasant. I mean, lots of people can power through it but I am not one of those. I wilt. It's not pretty.

I lose all ability to think clearly. I shudder to think what sort of novice mistakes I would make on a July trip. It wouldn't be pretty. :lmao:

I don't think your family would handle the heat well. I remember seeing some of your pictures this past summer and you were all wilting! I can't imagine we would ever see Charles. :rotfl2:

:rotfl: Oh go ahead, you know you want to!
Please tell me what you are getting....
:worship:

Hey MeMom, look it's you shopping!:goodvibes

Yeah, buddy, 'cuz I always wear my tiara when I shop! :thumbsup2

CP, when is Chelsea's birthday? I have another idea for you to throw into your mix. What if you planned the family trip at Christmas, so you and wigd could wear those ears and eat that gingerbread and all, and then you and Chelsea do a short mother/daughter GF two night birthday trip? Could you swing that?

I like the way you think, MeMom! :thumbsup2

I think I need a tiara for my Walmart trips. ;)

That's a great idea! I wonder if I could do that...:scratchin

I think you should do another Christmas trip in 2010, too, MeMom. Then you and Jill can join us for gingerbread eatin' at the GF! ;)

$15!! Can you believe that!!!?? I am so excited! It better fit or I will cry.
I love that sweatshirt!
I LOVE your haircut! It is TOO cute. And I'm really liking that Jimminy Cricket ornament! Isn't it sad that I don't know how to spell that cricket's name?
Glad you had a nice Thanksgiving. I spent black Friday working from 6a-2p, and totally enjoying that fact that I wasn't standing in those lines and fighting the crowds at the other stores. :)
There just wasn't anything I wanted that warranted going out this morning. Besides we had Harper overnight, so it was a relaxing morning.
Jiminy, Jimminy, somebody help us!

The hair is very easy but sometimes I miss the ponytail.....

Oh, please do that! That would be perfect -- I have looked at dates and we would be there from that Saturday until the 24th if that's what we decided to do.

We could wear matching Minnie ears and eat gingerbread at the Grand Floridian!

That sounds just glorious!
Do you have an idea what your school calendar is going to look like?

This is my second attempt at this post, I lost the first one.

The question remains...
Did I need a new park bag?

Probably not.

Did I think I needed a new park bag?

Uh yes.

After reading the conversation between Leslie and Jackie this morning I got to thinking.

Then I remembered a bag I saw a few weeks ago.

I panicked!

They were running a special today and the bag I wanted was probably long gone.

So off we went. To Target....

Then I said.....

Honey, could we go to to "Best of Times"?

Honey said "Sure, but they won't be open".

I replied, "It's 5:00 on Black Friday, of course they are open"

He turned back and off we went.

They were open!

The bag was still there.....

It's perfect!
Just big enough....
Lots of pockets....
Bright and cheery....
Waterproof!

Yes, Waterproof!

I decided on the Frill, in Symphony in Hue!

I also got a set of binder clips and a free holiday tote in Blue Rhapsody!

What do you think?
;) :cutie:

Oh, I love the new bag!!! Very stylish!!!

Yes, we already have our 2010-2011 calendar. Our last day of school is December 17. We would go from December 18 until December 24, so that our families wouldn't pitch fits about us being gone for Christmas.

Yes, yes, yes! :dance3:
You and Chelsea would have so much fun!

As soon as you finalize your December dates, let us know and we'll go from there. I really wanted to go at Thanksgiving next year. I really liked being there at that time last year, and then we still had a great Christmas to look forward to at home.

Maybe we'll do a Thanksgiving AND a Christmas trip! We have been known to do crazy things like that in the past. ;)

If I don't care for gingerbread, can I just have a chocolate chip cookie? :)
