Your are an awesome teacher...how great are you to get dressed up as Pocahantas...your kids will always remember that...and Charlie Brown's Thanksgiving...the dinner, their turkeys...you rock...

Harper is so sweet...in fact I like that whole batch of family photos...really, really nice...

I figure with teaching, the kids need a well rounded experience, there is so much emphasis put on testing and the time constraints that we forget that we are working with children...
I want them to want to come to school!

The family is a pretty good group, we have good times and not so good times. Harper is a definite bonus!

I had the pleasure of chaperoning my brother's sleepover for his 12th birthday and let me tell you.....there are many things that I would rather do than ever relive that night. At one point we were awoken by a poor kid getting his head dunked in the toilet!

I'm not planning on a sleep over, I'll leave that to the parents that aren't as old as I am....
I have heard too many stories, scary stories, not going to happen in my house stories....
Besides, I don't have stupid written on my forehead...

I couldn't agree more......too much teaching to the tests and not enough getting them to love learning...that's why they want to come to school...because they are learning to love learning in your class...

We try to be responsible and teach the curriculum but there has to be time for both...

I resisted the urge to buy myself one yesterday and am debating the urge to pick up a couple $10 shirts on Disney Shopping (the pink T with the foil Tink is SO cute!) I had promised DH he didn't need to buy me any christmas presents but we'll see...

As long as you are all planning your trips into 2011, let me throw out the week after Thanksgiving...I'm already looking forward to my 40th b-day bash!!!
