What dod you call Snow White's prince? I always thought he was Prince Charming (and wondered why she and Cinderella's princes had the same names) but she fussed at me for calling him Prince Charming. She said she would be in trouble if she kissed Prince Charming but her prince was, indeed charming. When I asked his name, she said it was just "The Prince."
Anyone else here think that Snow White's prince's name was Prince Charming?
As many times as I've watched that movie with DD3 who thinks she IS Snow White, you think I would have noticed!

As Charming as he is ,He still is just { The Prince } in all the references.

I hate to say it but Walt and his characters are the only ones with real names the rest came later like Eric and John .But I think he wanted his Ladies to stand out from the crowd.

On my CD there is some dialog that leads up to "Someday My Prince Will Come" and she says "Anyone could see that the Prince was charming, the only one for me." But I guess I never really thought about whether or not he was NAMED Prince Charming.

Last time we saw Snow White she told DS9 HE could be her prince, just for the photo, of course! :blush:

::yes::

Snow White -----> The Prince
Cinderella -----> Prince Charming
Sleeping Beauty -----> Prince Phillip

When my brother was a close friend of Snow White's Prince, he told me that he was cast as "Snow Prince".

HTH

I actually did find a Disney book of Snow White and it called him Prince Charming. When I found that I wished I could have shown her and said "See, I knew I wasn't the only one who thought this!" It was pretty funny having Snow White fuss at me!

I had to check my own website to see where I indexed him, and I put him under "Snow Prince". But his official autograph is "The Prince". I once asked at Disney World about why he had no name, and I was told that when Walt Disney made the movie Snow White, he had no intentions at that time to make many more prince/princess movies (just making Snow White was a huge gamble for him), so "The Prince" was simply "The Prince" since he was the only prince there was!

Sort of like World War I - it was never called that until World War II! No one knew at the time there would be another war! :scratchin

Snow White's Prince is very rare at Disney World - a hard one to find, that's for sure! :)

Who is John? Maybe I'm just having a forgetful moment. Prince John sounds familiar but isn't that in Robin Hood??

Oh and Ariel has Prince Eric
Belle has Prince Vincent

I didn't know Vincent was the Beast's name. I always meant to ask Belle what she called him after he turned back into a prince. And here I thought I knew my Disney Princess movies.

Don't worry - it's an unofficial name for Beast, I believe! I think it was based on that show from awhile ago (late 1980's) called Beauty and the Beast, with Linda Hamilton. The Beast character there was named Vincent. But officially, Belle's Beast has no name, so another nameless Prince! :teeth:
