Snow White's Not So Scary Adventure-Updated 11/11--Photopass part 2

Everybody get ready...the update is coming up

When I last left you we had just finished eating a wonderful dinner at LTT. As we walked out of the restaurant we were greeted by a few hundred of our closest friends. I turned to mom and said “When did it get so busy?”

We decided to head over to BTMRR to see what the wait time was like.

Along the way Dad stopped to try on a hat
We made it to BTMRR and the wait was 50 minutes. We decided to FP it…our return time was in about an hour so we headed over to Adventureland.

When we got there Captain Hook and Mr. Smee were signing autographs so we got in line. Mr. Smee holds a special place in my heart… he was the first character I ever met.

When it was our turn Captain Hook did not seem very happy to see me. He pulled my mouse ears over my face and it was then that I realized I had Tinker Bell on my ears and shirt. Hook and Smee were absolutely hilarious…this was hands down the best character interaction of the week.

Hook was reluctant…but he finally agreed to pose with me


Afterwards, we headed over to POTC and walked right into our boat. This is one of Mom’s favorite rides and she loves to sing-along.

After pirates it was time to use of FP’s so we head back to Frontierland. We still had to wait about 30 minutes even with a FP.

When we got off BTMRR we decide to head over to Fantasyland to do one of my favorite Attractions…Mickey’s Phillarmagic. I absolutely love this show…the sights, sounds, and smells are fantastic…I can’t help but smiling whenever I think about it.

Then we went on IASW where I took about 60 pictues…now I know you would love to see all of them but I decided to only show my favorites…


When we exited the IASW Fantasyland was packed. We decided to head over to Tomorrowland to see if we could get on Space Mountain. When we got there the wait was over an hour and there where no FP’s left. So, we headed over and FP Buzz and then took a ride on the TTA followed by Mom’s all time favorite, The Carousel of Progress. By the time we were done with that we were able to use our FP’s.

When we exited Buzz it was so crowded. My original plan was to stay for EMH but the park was so packed that we decided to head back to Pop and get a good night’s sleep.

On the way out we stopped and took this picture

There was a bus waiting for us when we got to the bus stop and before we knew it we were back home.

We stopped to get ice cream at the Food Court and I had my first ever Mickey Bar which I fell in love with!

After we enjoyed our treats we headed to our room and were asleep by 10:00.

Ah, as I read about you getting on the rides, I feel like I am getting on them, too. We would make good park hopping companions, we like the same rides.

Really enjoying your report!! I wish my dad was just a bit more like yours. He's been 4 times and says he doesn't really want to go back again. Every once in a while I think I have him convinced to go on our big extended family trip in 2010, byt no go yet. I need to show him your TR??

Dad loves Disney...he asks me everyday how long until we go back When in 2010 are you going? We are currently planning on going the week after New Year's

August 18th—Day 3

At 6:30am the phone began to ring…when I answered it Mickey was on the other line telling me it was time to wake up.

I quickly got dressed and then Mom, Dad, and I headed for the AK bus stop. We had an 8:20 ADR for Tusker House.

When we got to the bus stop there was a bus waiting for us so we hopped on. Before we knew it we were arriving at AK.

When we got into the park Dad and I headed to Tusker house to check-in while Mom went to get FP’s for the safari.

We only had to wait about 5 minutes for our name to be called

We were seated in the room closest to the buffet and were told that we should go get our food since the characters weren’t out yet.

This buffet was amazing…there were so many yummy things to eat. I can’t wait to come back here on our next trip!
The characters came shortly after we returned to our table


Then they had a parade…I felt so bad for Mickey…no kids wanted to get up and dance with him…if dad hadn’t been at the buffet during this time I know he would have danced with Mickey!

After we finished up with breakfast we headed over to KS to use our FP’s…except we didn’t need them since there was NO LINE!


When we got off the Safari Dad remembered that he left his water bottle at Tusker House so he went back to get it

I called Grandma and took some pictures while I waited

After Dad came out we saw Baloo and King Louie signing autographs so we headed over there


We then headed to EE and saw that it had about a 30 minute wait and the FP wouldn’t be ready for use until later in the afternoon and we were planning on leaving soon, so….we used our DVC FP’s and got right on!

Then we all rode single rider since there was no one in that line and we all ended up on the same train!

After EE we headed over to Dinosaur, which is one of my favorites! The sign said there was a 30 minute wait…but when we got in the building there was NO ONE IN LINE!!!!!

I love our ride picture…Dad looks confused, Mom is smiling, and you can’t even see my face!


After we finished with Dinosaur it was around 11:00 so we decided to head back to Pop since it was soo hot outside.

On our way out we ran into Flick

When we got back to Pop we rested until about 2:30…then we got ready for DHS!

No need for FP at KS!! Highly unusual.
My favorite part about going through your updates is seeing you with your parents, always having a great time together.
