I bet if you told one of your sons that joke they would laugh

Yay! With the phone found, you can really enjoy your vacation now!

The boogie joke is definitely a classic

Haha, and your dad's scared face is awesome.

I was so relieved when the phone was found

At least the phone was found in a safe place. But not where you wanted it.

It would have been nice to have it with me...but at least it was somewhere safe

STILL the cutest dad ever!....;)

Thanks LegoMom

Along the way we passed some street performers...

This guy was hilarious...when he saw that I was going to take a picture of him he went right into this pose

On our way out of the park we saw more street performers so we decided to watch

They were pretending that this woman was from outer space and she was looking for her leader

2008_04122008Disney0119.jpg

She asked Dad if he was her leader and he said "No I just got fired" then she said "This one can't even keep a job"
...those street performers are really a hoot! I guess that's part of why MGM is my favorite park...

...this 'LAWNG-EYE-LAND couple' was hilarious! She had seen my manicure and was pestering her 'hubby' Stanley that she wanted nails like MINE....:rotfl:

When I last left you, Dad and I had just went to bed after a busy first day in the world.

Morning came quickly and before I knew it it was 6:30am. I quickly got dressed and ran down to Everything Pop to get breakfast for everyone.

After breakfast we stopped at the DVC desk in the lobby to schedule a tour for later that day...our appointment was for 1:10pm
:woohoo:

We then boarded the bus for Epcot, which was waiting for us.

Once we got to Epcot we went to Guest Relations and checked in for our Segway Tour.

The tour was from 9am-11am and I can honestly say those were the scariest 2 hours of my life
:scared1:

You start off watching a short video. After, you go into an area at Innoventions and spend 1 hour learning to ride the Segway. Mom and I both had a tough time operating the Segway and were afraid they would tell us we would not be able to go on the Tour of World showcase.

In the end the Disney Gods were smiling on us because our guide James said we were good enough to go
:yay:

We left Innoventions and made a short stop at the bathrooms near Figment so we could all go one last time before our tour started.

When Dad was getting onto his Segway he leaned to the side, tipping the Segway, and fell off
:scared1:

Everyone in our group rushed over to see if he was ok. He said he was fine and that there was no blood.

James decided now would be the best time to start the tour.

We started on our way to WS and I had a death grip on my Segway. We had to watch out for people since FW was open.

*We now interrupt this TR for an important message, if you are ever in Epcot while a Segway tour is in session please step to the side...the people on the Segways are beginners and are not very good at stopping

We went through FW stopping in each country so James could tell us interesting facts...I however did not hear any of these interesting facts because I was focusing on not falling off my Segway.

We all stopped in Italy and had some free time to take pictures

The 3 of us together

We then continued on to Innoventions to return our Segways.

After the scariest 2 hours of my life we decided to ride Figment

On the way out I noticed we were on TV

We then decided to head to WS

We passed some ducks along the way

and stopped in Canada

then England

I found a hidden Mickey in Morocco

We were starting to get hungry so we stopped in America for lunch

After lunch it was time for our DVC club tour. The van picked us up at Epcot and we got to go backstage...which was very cool!

Our tour lasted 3 hours
:faint: It probably would have went longer but we told our guide we had to get to the MK for our Dinner reservations.

We considered buying but in the end Mom decided it wasn't for us, this decision devastated Dad :sad1:

We did get 3 instant FP's each (9 total) for taking the tour which was nice.

Coming up next...Dad has dinner with his idol

Hi Snow  Your past updates have been great!! The segway sounds scary!! I don't think I could balance well enough on one!
! Too bad about the DVC...maybe you could convice Mom for next time! Did you guys get to use your fastpasses?? Can't wait to hear about dinner!!

It's so good to see you Tiff  The Segway was hard to balance at first but after 2 hours I started to get the hang of it.

We did use the FP's...

Thanks for the update! I loved reading about the Segway tour. DS and I were at Innoventions when a group was just starting out the door. Good tip, about moving to the side! I'm glad your Dad was ok after he fell. The 3 of you looked like you enjoyed yourselves.
Don't feel badly about the DVC. DS wanted me to schedule a tour while we were there, but I decided against it. At this time, I just can't see putting out all of that money at one time and then making monthly payments. We're still paying a mortgage on our home and have tuition costs, etc. so our once yearly trip will have to be paid for as we go along.
Hope you got to use the FPs on some good rides! I guess I'll have to wait and read what happens next.....

Snow the segways look so fun. How much was tour of the segways?bI hope your dad is alright.

 Would you do the Segway tour again, Knowing what you know now  Glad Dad Snow is ok. Have you noticed, we've all gotten to  your family.

Thanks for the PSA about moving :thumbsup2 :rotfl2:

Great reading once again:worship: (can you do an update in class) :teeth:

We put the FP's to good use :thumbsup2

I think the tour was around $80 (you get a discount with your Disney Visa)

The segway tour was a good experience. Will I do it again? Probably not. But I do recommend it...maybe once Cole is a little older you can all do it as a family

Thanks Judi

(I'm taking keyboarding 3rd period...and we all now how fast I already type...I wonder if the DIS is blocked at school)

I don't know about your school, but sadly, DIS is blocked at mine!:sad1:

DS loved the Segways, we only did the free try out in Innoventions, he is all boy, loves all things mechanical. I was actually quite good at it, the trainer asked me how often I rode them :rolleyes1 just sayin' , natural ability here! :rotfl: Of course, no obstacles in the trial course (like PEOPLE walking!):rotfl2:

Great update, can't wait to hear what the FP's were used for.....
