Hey Everyone! My counter in my siggy is off though, I think it is because I have set to the day we arrive, not the day we leave. Can you believe that May is almost over? JUNE IS NEXT! Yesterday I made DBF's mom and aunt (Doc & Bashful I believe were their names at the beginning of this Pre-trippie, which BTW I will probably change the title and names of people soon...so be on the lookout for that) Anyways, back on topic, I made his mom and aunt their itineraries. I just had to print them out and glue them to the notecards. While I was trimming paper and gluing DBF was making lists of things to bring in the car and things do before we go. (of course we were listening to Disney music while doing this) We also got our directions from Illinois to the House of Mouse all printed and ready to go!
Total milage: 1,214 miles
Total Hours: About 22 (with stops) without factoring in stops it was about 18 hours.
We are driving straight through, which will be interesting since we are planning arrive in the Disney area at about 6:00 PM, we then are planning on going to MGM the next day. Guaranteed we wont be there at opening though after driving straight through. I am hoping to get a few hours of sleep in the car, but I usually don't sleep longer than 30 minutes while on a roadtrip. So I will be sleepy, but I am hoping once I see those Disney gates I will get my second wind for sure!
I posted these before, but here they are again because I am so darn proud of them. Here is one of the itineraries I printed for DBF's mom and aunt.
I just love being on summer vacation! I get to do all this fun Disney stuff!!! Today I made little cards for my Trip Reporting. I want to remember everything so that my report can be as accurate & detailed as possible for you guys, aren't I doll?

I made the cards in word. They are 4 x 6 so I cut them out and stapled them to an index card (they are two sided).

If anyone wants these just let me know, I will be happy to email you a copy. You can also let me know if you want different characters on the cards too! I am on summer vacation and bored!
I think the TR cards will come in handy not just for trip reporting, but also scrapbooking. I love to scrapbook our
Disney vacations and to bring back memories and make me more excited I busted out my scrapbook from 2005 here are some pages...
Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin page
Meeting Mickey!
Our whole gang meets Disney's whole gang at Epcot at the Visa Character Connection.
I have also been busy getting all of our maps ready for the parks. I made colored copies of the ones from my Passporter (cuz they are much smaller than the maps they give you at the parks) and trimmed them down. They fit so nicely in pockets of my Passporter too! I am not sure that we will even need the maps, but sometimes in the blistering heat my mind draws a blank...it happens to the best of us, right?
Park maps
Blizzard Beach/Typhoon Lagoon Maps and Polynesian Resort.
I have the Poly. map so that I can accurately find that path to the Wedding Pavilion and Grand Floridian. DBF and I want to take a walk to the GF & WP when we go to the Luau. Alright, I will admit, it is more like I want to take the walk and I am dragging DBF with me. I will have my map so that there are NO excuses from DBF! I keep reminding him that I want to see the WP, but I think he is starting to block my voice out whenever I talk about taking this walk. Just know if I have to, I will drag his butt on this walk, aren't I the nicest girlfriend?

It may the only time I get to see the Wedding Pavilion so close. Plus I hear the walk is super romantic, and we all need some romance now and again!!
I also printed out the ULTIMATE Disney packing list from
www.mousesavers.com. It is a very helpful list and is amazingly organized. It definitely fits my neurotic standards.
the ULTIMATE list
I forgot to post these before but I also went to Home Depot awhile back to get...
LGMH!!!
And of course, this TR wouldn't be complete without showing you...
Yet more clothes...I think I am done shopping now.
DBF is guessing all of his Disney Countdown Characters..I cannot seem to stump him. He says he is a Disney Character expert! I guess I make his clues way too easy. At first it was not my intent to stump him, but now he rubbing it in that he gets them all right and it is p-ing me off so much that it is my ultimate goal to stump him before we leave. I still got 24 more days to get him.
Here are some of our past countdown characters, which he has gotten all correct!...
