Hello everybody and welcome to my first pre-trip report! I am really excited to do this even though my trip will be a short one and when I say short I mean short, the reason being we live in Florida and we like to go about 3-4 times a year so instead of going for a week long trip we go for weekend getaways, that way I can get my Disney fix often :cutie:

So let me start by introducing the Family...

ME (25)
My name is Blanca, and yes that means white, like snow white, in fact the spanish name for snow white is Blanca Nieves! Ok ok enough with the spanish lesson...
I have been a true Disney lover since I met the big cheese himself Mickey :smickey: , I was only one month old when my parents took me to Disneyland in California and what can I say I fell in love... LOL I spend a lot of time on my computer looking at Disney videos on youtube, here on the Dis, and entering every disney sweepstakes out there. I am very obsessed with anything that has to do with Disney, but thankfully I am not alone, oh yeah and by day I work as a dental assistant (thank you wal-mart for the Disney scrubs)

DH (24)
Prince Charming my wonderful Hubby,
Takes me to Disney because he knows how much I love it, would he go otherwise? ummm no, but gotta love him anyway!

DS (18mo.)
Our little Prince Gabriel, he is 17 months old, and I am making him a little Disney fanatic just like mom! He is a huge toy story fan and anything playhouse Disney.

This year Disney asked what will you celebrate?
Hmmm?
Well our Birthdays of course! What a great excuse to go back to Disney!

The convincing began.. December 25th while watching the Disney parade on t.v. I put the sad look on my face and looked over at DH and burst out crying like a baby ! He looks at me and asks you want to go back to Disney don't you? Uhhh Yessss! ;) Works like a charm!
Let the planning begin..

I had to check the calendar and figure out whose birthday we would celebrate first. It just so happened my DH's B-day is this month (feb) and it falls on a Friday! yay!
Although I really wish we were celebrating my birthday first in Disney, it's not until the end of March and I can't handle waiting one more month,
So i called Disney dining and got a breakfast ressie for Kona cafe and a lunch ressie for Le Cellier on Feb 27th my hubby's exact birthdate, this will be our first time eating at any of those two restaurants . I'm super excited to try the tonga toast and cheddar cheese soup  Actually this trip will be my first of a lot of new things to try, like goofy's at DTD, and I have never tried a dole whip float! Can you beleive that? Guess I have been living under a rock , but thanks to all of you nice Disers I know about them now.

oooooh that looks good!

OK so as you can see this trip is to revolve around my DH and his birthday, now he is not the type of person who likes his birthday to be made a big deal of ,he is very shy and does not like attention , little does he know that I have ordered a balloon bouquet for him to be delivered to Kona Cafe while we are having breakfast! LOL! I can't wait to see the look on his face :lmao:
The balloons I ordered are supposed to be the mickey head balloons like you see in all the "What will you celebrate " ads and I'm not to sure if I should order a cake as well, we will be having breakfast at 9:30 a.m. and cake that early does not sound good . I should let you know I am very nervous about the whole balloon thing not working out , I'm freaking out that they will send the wrong balloons or they won't arrive on time or not arrive at all

The balloons in the background of the pic below are what they
are supposed to be like...:scared: (hopefully)

Only six more days until we leave for Disney! Yay!!!! :yay: :cool1:
I'm so excited to go back, It has been about five months since the last time we were there for MNSSHP and we are more than ready to return.
We are staying at the Buena Vista Palace located next to Downtown Disney, yeah I know we are not staying at a Disney resort  but my hubby gets corporate rates at the BVP and with the economy the way it is we have to go for the least expensive option. It's a really nice hotel though, we have stayed before and you basically can just walk across the street from the hotel property to the marketplace to go shopping

Here are some pictures of our last trip for MNSSHP

You are so lucky to get to go again.* We haven't been since 2007!* I am soooo ready to be there again.* We too are celebrating my dh and ds's b-days.* How fun, and w/the free gift card my ds will get to pick out something special for his big day.* I only wish his b-day fell on the weekend so we could be at HS for the Starwars weekend. Oh well, can't have everything.* He will get to spend 2 days at HS for SWW.* My ds will be in Heaven!!!* I hope your balloon order works out.* I am thinking about ordering a cake for ds, but then dh might feel left out, but 2 cakes plus the dining plan seems like too much.*
Keep up the updates!

I know what you mean ,when i was preggers with my son i was not able to go to Disney for over a year and i was freaking out. All i would do was read my guide to wdw religiously and memorized it from cover to cover LOL!
I hope you have a great time, do you have a pre-TR?

This was how i acted until i went back

subbing! Keep it coming:goodvibes

Hello and welcome
Thanks for joining!

Hey ! sorry it took me so long to post but I was not sure if i could go on with my trip report . We went to Disney and had a good time but our trip was cut short due to a few incidents. I'll tell you more about it soon enough, for now I will try and get my pictures ready to post and start my mini TR but there may be a surprise at the end so stay tuned LOL :thumbsup2

I hope you had a great time, regardless of the "incidents". Can't wait to see your pics. :) I finally get to make my ADR's tomorrow. I hope I'm not on hold too long. The posts I have read recently are scarry as to how long people are on hold.:scared1:

Ok lets get this trip report going!
I got everything packed and ready to go the night before we left. I set the alarm for 3:45 a.m.! I usually am to excited to sleep but this time the alarm did it's job and woke us all up. We headed out the door and we were on the rode by 5:00 a.m. We live in Naples,FL and Lake Buena Vista is about a three hour drive, so you can imagine how exciting that drive is with an 18 month old, thankfully he slept almost the whole way there:yay: but when he finally woke he was not a happy camper, he is teething and because of it he was now running a fever he was miserable  Thank goodness I remembered to pack his motrin and by the time we got to disney he was feeling much better.:cutie:

Arriving at the Walt Disney World Resort!

So we arrived at the Magic Kingdom! I got my son all dressed and ready to ride the tram, we got our tickets and waited to catch the monorail to the Polynesian resort where we have our ressie for Kona!
008.jpg

Yay for Kona! I was so excited to have breakfast here as it was our first time and I was dying to try the famous tonga toast, and of course you know how I was freaking out about the balloon boquet i had ordered for my DH's B-Day.
009.jpg

And well take a look at this!!! All my worries were over;) The balloon boquet arrived as we were having breakfast, My DH was totally surprised and a little shy about the attention but he loved it but not as much as our son he had a ball playing with the balloons.

To bad my son's excitement with the balloons was not going to last for long...

I am so glad the baloons turned out so great. What a wonderful surprise for your DH! What a Special way to start your trip.
:bday:

Ok so I have to tell you about our breakfast experience at Kona cafe I ordered the tonga toast with the side of ham, I thought it was really good but a bit to sweet for my taste and as much as I would have loved to eat the whole thing I ate only half and only took one bite of my ham, I did not like the ham at all it tasted burned or something. My DH ordered the Big Kahuna breakfast, whoa now I know why they call it the BIG KAHUNA! everything looked so good on his plate but I only tried the Pineapple Macadiama pancakes , they were so goooood! He liked everything on his plate, our son enjoyed the Big Kahuna too since he shared with daddy. At the end of our meal our waiter brought out a mini desert, it was like a cream puff or something whatever it was DH liked it too.:thumbsup2
