Snow White lived with 7 Men, thats CRAZY! Girls Only Trip-May 2012! *WE ARE LEAVING!*

Hello! Just wanted to stop by and make a few comments.

I think 50's Prime Time is definitely a great choice for a restaurant on a DHS day! I've eaten there almost every time I've gone, and it's always been good.

Also loving your outfit choices, as well as your backpack! I've been looking for a good Disney backpack for my trip in June, I wonder if they still have any on sale. And your Minnie Mouse necklace is adorable!

:welcome:
HELLO! I am really excited to eat at 50's Prime Time! I'm glad you like it, I'm sure I will also!! I have tried really hard with my outfits this time. I want to be comfy yet cute at the same time!! The backpack is awesome!! :thumbsup2 I'm sure they have some like it at Target but I don't know if they'd still be on sale :confused3 I love my Minnie necklace! Thank you so much!!!

Yay for Mickey Mail! We got ours a couple of days ago too! I am like you, I LOVE Tower of Terror. My Disney trip is not complete until I have ridden it. If it was ever closed for some reason during our trip, I'm pretty sure I would cry. What a cute bag! Love the Disney purchases!

Mickey Mail is the best!! I would cry so much if ToT were supposed to be closed while there! Its the best ever! Thank you!

Glad you had a great birthday! AHH that tote bag is just adorable! Your parents are awesome... I'm just imagining the damage I could do with 100 Disney dollars... it's beautiful.

AHH!! I'm glad you decided to go to 50's!!! I hope yall love it as much as we did!

Cute buys! Your day sounds awesome. I've never been to either of those restaurants, but I'm going to Akershus this summer for lunch too and I'm really excited! Can't wait to hear what you think!

Thank you!!! I know they are completely amazing!! I was really surprised that they gave me that much but HEY I'M NOT COMPLAININ'! Haha.
After I saw your 50's Prime Time pictures, I couldn't get it outta my head that I really wanted to eat there! Hope you don't mind the name-drop!
I'm sure both restaurants will be fabulous! I'm really excited for Akershus and I will let you know how it goes!

I've had lunch at 50sPTC... enjoyed it very much! I had the fried chicken, very yummy. And oh my stars, the Peanut Butter & Jelly milkshake is to die for!

Happy {belated} Birthday to you! Sounds like it was a great day :cutie:

Ohhh Fried Chicken sounds delicious!!! I was looking at that one or the Pot Pie. It all sounds so yummy!! And a PB&J milkshake!!! Oh my goodness that sounds divine! Thanks for the birthday wishes!!

Happy belated Birthday! Awww, that Minnie bag is too adorable! :lovestruc

Yay for adding 50's PT for lunch! I've become pretty obsessed with 50's Prime Time lately, I am definitely making an ADR there for our next trip!

Your Epcot day sounds great! Definitely get to Soarin' early, the standby line gets SO long really fast, and the FP's go quickly, now that there is no Test Track (which really annoyed me on this past trip...I mean, I knew it was closed, but I didn't realize how much it would bother me! :rotfl:)! Yum, Teppan Edo is so good!

We finally got to watch Illuminations from the bridge between France and England and it was amazing!! I've always wanted to, but we never got there early enough to get a good spot, and we finally did, and it was SO worth it! I would totally suggest that if spot if you can get there early! :cool1:

I bet the chicken pot pie is good, too. It's comfort food, how can it not be good, right? ;)

And I remember having the choice of vanilla or chocolate ice cream for my milkshake... I went with chocolate, natch. ::yes::

Thank you for the b-day wishes!! I love my new bag!
I'm so excited to eat at 50'sPTC! Everyone keeps saying its delicious so I keep getting more and more excited!:hyper:
I figured FP for Soarin' would go super quick :( I am going to miss Test Track, too. We only rode it once on our last trip and I am really sad its closed. Teppan Edo is going to be SOOOO good!::yes::
Oh! That sounds like a great place to watch from! :thumbsup2 Sam told me on her last trip, her husband and her watched from the dining area of the Yorkshire Fish and Chips and it was a good place too! I have no idea where we will end up!

Comfort food is the best!! and CHOCOLATE ALL THE WAY! For sure! :thumbsup2

Just found your PTR! Me and my husband are also going to be at POP but from 5/28 - 6/1. OK, back to reading your report.

Ok, I REALLY need to get going on these updates! WHY?? Because we leave in 11 days!! That’s right, we are almost to single digits! Wohoo!!

I did get a little bit accomplished today for the trip. First, I went to Target and picked up a few things I needed. I got Dramamine so that I do not get any motion sickness. I also got an orange tank top for under the strapless dress that I posted in my wardrobe post. There were several other things I think I might need but I am going to wait until I go shopping with Sam for them. Then, I went and picked up my KU dress from my seamstress friend who had fixed up a seam for me. I can't sew for anything! Finally, I called and made our nail appointment. I explained to the lady the design that I know I want on my nails, I don't know if Sam has decided if she wants the same design or another one, she said she couldn't promise that they could do the design until they saw it. Here is a refresher for those who have forgotten how I want mine done:

Surely this design would not be hard for a professional to do. A mickey head can not be that complicated to paint on. Thoughts? Anyways, on with the plans!!

Day 5 Plans

Wednesday- May 30th

Today will be our second full day in Magic Kingdom. The park’s hours for the day are from 9am-10pm. I have a feeling that after 3 days of late EMH, we may give ourselves a little sleep in time. So I wouldn’t be surprised if we sleep til 9am and then get around. Once we arrive in MK, we will probably base our day off of what we want to do again and what snacks we still want to try (or try again: Dole Whip!). Any suggestions on must try snacks in MK??

The crowd level for our first MK day is much higher than this MK day on easywdw.com. So I have a feeling we will be able to get a lot done! I’m hoping that BTMRR will be open. Its been scheduled to be closed through the 27th, but I’ve read rumors that it could last longer. Anyone heard anything on this? I enjoy BTMRR but if it is still closed on the 30th, I won’t be completely heart broken.

I am also excited to visit the New Storybook area with the updated Dumbo ride. Even though Dumbo and Goofy’s rollercoaster are not new, it will still be fun to see the new area. Ok I hope this is not a dumb question but is Goofy’s rollercoaster called the Barnstormer or the Great Goofini now?? I have heard both and didn’t know what they had changed it to.

Anyways, this day will be lots of fun and we will have to head out of MK around 9pm. Why? Because we are heading to our last dinner reservation of the trip. Luckily, this will be a rather short trip. We will be going on THE MONORAIL again! You don’t know how excited I am to experience THE MONORAIL on this trip!

So, last time we headed towards the CR, but not this time. We are heading towards the:

poly.jpg

POLYNESIAN!!!!

I am so excited to be able to visit this resort. I have seen so many gorgeous pictures that I want to explore the resort a little. We have a 9:35pm dinner reservation at:

ohana.jpg

OHANA!!!!

I can’t wait for this dinner! I have read and read and read and read about Ohana. I have practically drooled on my computer looking at the food pictures and I want it NOW! I think this is the dinner that Sam and I are looking forward to the most. It will be delicious.

Does anyone know if you can see Wishes from Ohana at 10pm? If so, I did not even think of that perk when I booked such a late reservation. (I booked a late reservation because that’s all that was available)

Anyways, after dinner, we will probably roll ourselves back to THE MONORAIL and take that to the TTC. Then catch a bus back to POP. There are buses to every resort from the TTC, right? Or should we just ride back to MK and catch a bus from there?? I feel like such a rookie with my inexperience with THE MONORAIL.

Alright, sorry for the short update, but with it being a repeat park day there isn’t as much to update about!! We are so excited though! 11 days, can you believe it!!

I love your nail design, I was going to try to do a Mickey or Minnie head on one of my nails, but I didn't feel like buying a black pen after buying a white one, they are so expensive! I don't see why a nail professional wouldn't be able to do that design, it looks pretty simple! :thumbsup2

Yay for a 2nd MK day! I feel like I don't spend enough time in that park! I hope BTMRR is open for you, it would be nice to get to go on it and see what the difference is!

I love riding the monorail any chance I get, it's so much fun! And 'OHANA! Yum! It's one of my favorites! You are going to DIE when you try the dessert, it's probably the best dessert in WDW!

I have no experience with the buses really, especially from TTC, but you can walk to the TTC from the Poly, so you might be able to skip the monorail all together. Although, it seems like you like to ride it, so maybe just take the monorail back to MK and get a bus from there? You can also take a boat from the Poly to MK, which is always nice! :)

ps-I started my TR for my May trip finally, stop by when you have a minute!

I love that nail design! It's the same yet different from the typical Minnie dress design (ahem, the one I did in December hahah). I'm sure they'll be able to do it!

I have been so confused about what they're calling it now but what I've been hearing lately is that it's called The Barnstormer featuring the Great Goofini. That's a little silly to me because with the re-themed area I thought the new name would be a welcome change... but I think that everyone's still just calling it the Barnstormer hahah.

THE MONORAIL!!!!! I have NEVER been to 'Ohana but I feel like everyone and their brother has been there! SOMEDAY hahah. I bet it'll be delicious! I think your best bet would be to just MONORAIL it back to the MK! I think the only busses they have there are to DHS and AK. I could be wrong though!!! (I probably am hahah).

Can't believe I had fallen two updates behind! I'm caught up now! :)

First off, hope your birthday was a happy one. The bag is very cute, and the gift cards inside are even better!

We've eaten at 50's PTC several times, and we always enjoy it. I always order the fried chicken, and it's delicious. I don't care for the greens that it comes from, and when I've substituted the green beans, I haven't liked those either. We southerners like some country cooked green beans, not exactly what you get at Disney!

Teppan Edo! YUM. Of course you know I think so, because we're eating there on Monday night!

Wednesday, looks as if we're at the same park--MK! Maybe I'll see you and Sam! I love 'Ohana. Save room for dessert---the bread pudding is the best!

The only snack I can think of at MK that I really really really want to try is a cinnamon roll from the Main Street Bakery. Oh my stars, those things look amazingly yummy!

You're not the only one confused on the Goofy roller coaster name, LOL! I think it's now officially "The Barnstormer starring the Great Goofini". :confused3

And I could talk about 'Ohana for days and days. I personally didn't care for the bread (I'm not a fan of coconut) or the dessert... but the rest of the meal was DELICIOUS. I could've easily licked the salad dressing out of the bowl, it was so good. And the pot stickers and noodles, yummy. Now I'm drooling!

I think our 'Ohana ADR was for 8:00 and we did get to see Wishes at 9. Well, I say "we" but I was really the only one at our table who had a view of the castle and fireworks. The other 2 at our table (and we were right beside the window) had trees obstructing their view. So it might be a hit-or-miss when it comes to watching Wishes.

I may be wrong, but I'm fairly sure the resort buses do not go to the TTC. Resort buses drop off/pick up at MK. I think the TTC is only for cars and the park-to-park buses.

Yea, I kinda think it should just be the Great Goofini to go with the circus theme, The Barnstormer still gives it a country feel. Does that make sense? Lol.
I am soooo EXCITED for THE MONORAIL!!! I think you are right that we should ride back to MK. Better to avoid a mishap at TTC.

My birthday was great, thanks for the birthday wishes!!
I'm glad to hear your family likes 50's PTC. I have yet to really hear anything bad about it, so I am getting more and more excited!
Teppan Edo will be so delicious!!!!! Its going to be great!
I will be sure to keep an eye out for you guys at MK on Wednesday! Be sure to say hi if you see us! That would be so fun!!
Seriously, OHANA is going to be fantastic, I am so pumped! I have seen pics of the bread pudding and I can't wait!! Our trips are SO CLOSE!! :cool1:

Silly Disney needs to simplify the name of the Barnstormer featuring the Great Goofini. :lmao:
I think I am most excited about the pot stickers and noodles. They look/sound so good!!! YUM!
That would be awesome if we got a view of Wishes! What an added perk to that reservation that I didn't even think about!
Thanks for the info on the TTC. :thumbsup2 I've never been to it, so I was unsure what to expect.

Ok time for another update! BUT FIRST

SINGLE DIGIT DANCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
:jumping1: :dancer::dancer: party: :dancer::dancer: :jumping1:

I can’t believe we only have 9 days until our trip!

I have been slowly getting together everything that I need for our trip. Here are a few more things I’ve picked up.

First, I’ve always wanted one of those foldable/hangable cosmetic bag thingys for trips. So I found this one on sale at Target (you probably think I spend all my time at Target, and you would be right! Hard not to when it’s a mile from my house! :rotfl:)

100_1376.jpg

100_1379.jpg

As you can see, I have already place my Dramamine and new bobby pins in my bag.

I also got this at Target:

100_1389.jpg

It’s one of those Brita water bottles that filters the water as you drink it. It really does work!! I hate tap water and I have been loving this water bottle! It is going to be great in the park because the fountain water tastes so nasty. The only bad thing I can say about the water bottle is that you have to make sure you get the top on tight or else water will dribble out on you, but once you learn this it’s pretty easy to avoid.

Next, I wanted to make Sam and I a couple “Disney themed” bracelets for the trip. Here is mine (ours are identical):

100_1375.jpg

Now these bracelets are really nothing fancy. I made them both in a matter of an hour with simple semi-precious stones I found at my local Michael’s. I could have done more elaborate bracelets but it is terribly hard to find Disney beads or charms outside of Disney.

Finally, my good friend Rachel makes hair bows and I asked her to make some Disney bows for us. Here they are:

100_1383.jpg

100_1385.jpg

They are adorable and I was so excited to pick them up from her! They both have alligator clips on the back, so they will clip into my fine hair nicely! So excited to wear them!!

Also, I have something REALLY exciting to tell all of you. Like REALLY exciting. It does not have to do with Disney, but I can’t officially say anything until Monday, so I will leave you hanging with that!

Ok, on with the update!

Day 6 (Last full day)

Thursday, May 31st

Today we will be spending our last full day at:

7527_1113214229128_1190070014_30634026_6266958_n.jpg

You all already know my love for this park. We will probably use this day to do rides/shows that we missed or want to do again. I am almost positive we will ride Tower of Terror, aka BEST RIDE EVER CREATED, as many times as humanly possible.

I probably shouldn’t share this picture because it really is not that great. But I’m going to:

7527_1113210309030_1190070014_30633988_1783630_n.jpg

We are in the front row in the middle-left. Ah, I love it! Can’t wait to be riding ToT so soon!!

Ok, so we do not have any dining reservations for today. Boring, I know. :confused3 But since we had two in Epcot the other day, we didn’t want to push our budget too much. I’m not sure where we will eat lunch and dinner in Hollywood Studios. But, I’m sure we will have to get another cupcake from Starring Roles. YUMMM.

I have a feeling we will catch Fantasmic tonight, rather than waiting for it on Memorial Day when I’m sure the park will be a bit more crowded. However they added a second showing of Fantasmic on Memorial Day at 11pm, so maybe that would be better?? But, if we did the 11pm on Memorial Day, that would cut into our EMH time. So, I guess we will have to see how we feel when we are actually there. I think doing the Fantasmic on this day rather than Memorial Day would be the smartest way to go. What do you think??

Ok, sorry again for a short update, but since this is a repeat park and we have no dining reservations it just is. :thumbsup2

Oh don't worry, I go to Target all the time too! I'm basically obsessed with that place! :rotfl:

I think your best bed would be to go see Fantasmic on this day too, rather than Memorial Day! I think the crowds would be a lot bigger at the earlier showing and then you could be doing something for EMH while everyone else is crowding in the theater for the second show. :thumbsup2

YAY SINGLE DIGITS!!!!

We thought about trying to catch Fantasmic on Memorial Day at 11. If we don't make it I won't be too heart broken. Love the bracelet, super cute!

So, this might be a silly question, but is there a filter in the water bottle? Because that sounds awesome in theory, but I'm not sure I get how it would work.

I would probably do Fantasmic! that day too, because I would think it would be a little less crowded, but it's hard to say. I think either way, you're still probably going to have to wait a while, so it might make sense to do on day 6, because as you said, you'll be cutting in to EMH time on Memorial Day. But I've never actually waited for Fantasmic! at WDW, only Disneyland, so I could be all off in my thinking.
