Snow White bus?

Ok..I've looked for the answer to this question and can't seem to find it. It may be silly and I'll get laughed out of here, but here goes....what does it mean when the Disney bus says "Snow White"? My kids were asking me because they knew I had done alot of research on the DIS, but that was one I couldn't answer! Help me out!

Are you sure it said Snow White? I've been to disney over 15 times, plus I did the college program in the fall, so I lived and worked there for 5 months, and I never saw a bus that said that!

The "Character" on the front of the bus is a fun way for the sign's programming version. When a driver is out of service, they will sometimes put that up.

this is a thread i posted a bit ago after returning from a trip where i got a lengthy tutorial on the buses (i just asked what a mickey mouse bus was):

so as mentioned above, what the bus says signifies the software version in it. back in march, there was MICKEY MOUSE, DONALD DUCK and MINNIE MOUSE which i was under the impression was the newest version at the time. (Mickey is the original software, Donald newer and Minnie newest).

this is the first I've heard of a SNOW WHITE, but i'm pretty sure someone recently reported seeing a SIMBA too. my guess is these buses probably have been updated with GPS and perhaps the narrations as that was set to all begin in April.

Indeed there is a "Snow White". There is also a "Simba". I had a Gillig with Simba a couple of weeks ago.

Snow White is something new, it first started appearing last week. It very well may have to do with the MiM programming that DTD is now using.

Right now, It's only on the DTD buses, it will slowly work it's way into the other hubs.

It is part of the technology upgrade on the buses, This includes GPS locators and automated speils based upon GPS location. This will eventually lead to better utilization of the bus fleet and hopefully, better guest services.
