Posting from my phone so no individual quotes but thanks to everyone for your well wishes on our trip. Made our first night's destination safely but way too eventful. Nothing serious just delays. I HATE driving through Georgia!

Working on getting everyone up and moving so we can make the last 5 hours of our drive. House of Blues for dinner then a few hours at DHS. Wonder who we might draw if we make Animation Academy???

Georgia is ONE of the many reasons we stopped driving -- worse drivers I have ever seen in my life!

I don't mind most of Georgia - but want to hide when we get to Atlanta. It looks like after Sherman burnt it down, they just paved it over. I when I see how many lanes there are and how many people think that they can cross over about 30 of them to get to their exit at the last second. Which is all just one more reason I am glad I am flying while those silly boys go in the car.

Our first visit to Animation Academy was not a very good one! Hoping to make it back before we leave and have a better experience, even if we draw Stitch!

Not sure about when you posted this, but today was a DHS day with Jenbear and her friend Stitch! What a wonderful couple of sweethearts they are!!! I'll leave it for her to tell you all about our time together at RnR and ToT!!!

A Sharpie!???!!!??? Breakfast so far has been mild! Saving the breakfast ADRs for the last part of the week!

Thanks Jen! Other than the heat, humidity and a few other minor disasters, it has gone almost perfectly!

Highlights so far have been our dinner and park day at DHS with Jenbear and Stitch, family time together, having a blender in our room at OKW for home made concoctions, and just being able to spend short amounts of time at the parks and not having to try and do everything since we have multiple chances to go back to each one if we miss something. Being on a huge Hidden Mickey hunt while we've been here too!

Looking forward to meeting Tanya in a couple more days! Had to dodge some rain so far, and there is a tropical storm headed directly at us that may be a hurricane and get here by Saturday! As long as it cools us off it shouldn't be too bad!!!


Funny story; was taking food porn pics at 50s Prime when a guy at the table next to me asked if the pictures were going to be posted on the DIS? I laughed and told him yes. He said he was a long time (like since late 90s) lurker but seldom posted, but he has my username now so maybe we'll see him around here soon!

Both Stitch and I had a wonderful time meeting you and your family. Despite your antics on the boards you and your family are simply marvelous. Thank you for taking us to the airport too!
