Snow to 80 in 8 days–A spoonful of Holiday Cheer (2/5 update Ch 36 - Final Thoughts)

After thinking it through I decided to move my Christmas holidays to the Monday and Tuesday AFTER Christmas. We always go to the In-Laws on Christmas Day so this meant we could celebrate with my family right after and head to Florida on Tuesday, driving all the way there. Not only did this mean a solution to seeing everyone at Christmas, but it also meant another (partial)day in the Disney parks!!!

Brilliant! Anything that solves your problem AND gets more time in the parks is a win.

I opened the envelope to find a thank you card from Tim(that’s nice), Mel and Juliana who recently were at Disney for Ana’s MAW trip!

The card was so unexpected and the drawing was so precious!!! Thanks Princess Juliana for a very special Christmas gift!

Well, at least you had time to DIS at work today... While I was stuck on a train and had to attend a DISmeet... (just to absolutely clear in case anyone might not understand me being a bit ironic: the DISmeet with Cynthia was an absolut pleasure!)

Unfortunately there is no time at all for the Disboards at work right now, it is incredibly with overtime and everything... at least it is an interesting project and kind of fun as well

Hmmm... slippery roads are not so good. But I assume you made it ok; however, I see you are employing the use of cliffhangers quite nicely.

I'm thinking that once I get to the meat of the TR I will incorporate some contest type questions with the cliffhangers. I might be able to milk this thing as long as some others around here do....

I'm here lurking and have been lurking on little Julianna's TR thread too.. What a sweet surprise! The snow you have is the amount we should have here in Wisconsin! We had fog and rain over the holidays! It was some nasty weather. Can't wait to read more.

I think everyone wants a TR that has lots of updates, but will go on for a long time - I am not sure how this is going to work, but I assure you that nobody has any interest in this TR to be over faster than your trip!

You show great wisdom and sound judgement! I hope you get to use those skills often!

I got some Christmas cards in the mail from some of my dear DISfriends and then the final day of mail delivery before we had the mail stopped I got a really big surprise; one of the sweetest and dearest things I got over all of Christmas. I opened the envelope to find a thank you card from Tim(that’s nice), Mel and Juliana who recently were at Disney for Ana’s MAW trip!

And inside was a most special personal drawing from Juliana…….

So Marv... you got one of the nice drawings. After having a 4 year old write out a ton of thank you cards, some of the drawings weren't as good.


In case anyone out there doesn't know why Marv received this thank you card- while we were on my DD Make-A-Wish trip, he and Kathy (KatMark) sent us a personalized bag filled with all kids of goodies while we were in Florida.

Yeah, exams usually put a big damper on traveling during the holidays. My little brother's exams couldn't end early enough for my family to do any decent traveling back to China before school started again.
