I am really excited to hear the rest...usually a lurker...don't know what prevoked me post! LOL...

We live in Central TX(Fort Hood) and got like a whole 3 inches of FREAK snow(we were wearing shorts the day before) last week. AND it was gone in about 14 hours... So today I looked at my husband and said, "Next time it snows, we're going to Disney!"

Ah! Well, the Savannah is a play on words, actually!! It refers to the Savannah at the Animal Kingdom, because that is where we ran to when the snow came to MD! BUT I hope you are still here to read along!!!

Oh, I just read another report about that moon pie/cookie you had. That looks fabulous! I will have to try that this summer.

The picture of your son going down the slide head first made me roll! DS did that our first trip to Disney and we about had a major fight with a CM over it. DS started down at the top and the CM yelled at him to not do that which caused DS who was 4 at the time go back in the roll of film I believe it is and would not come out. The CM turns around to everyone standing there and puts his hands up in the air and makes a face and starts complaining about him. Well, that did it! DH started on him. I had to calm him down. Then, I had to go get DS while the CM starts mouthing me. Worst experience ever! To this day, DS refuses to go to the playground. I wish I had reported the CM. He was so un-Disney. We did not let it ruin the rest of the day though and we have been back every year since!

Oh yes, we got the reprimand from the CM too! I didn't know he was going to do it, and of course there were not many people around, but he said sorry! Sorry your experience was a little more troubling... The carrot cake cookie is FAB if you like carrot cake. I highly recommend them!
