Snow Days At School

Had the first snow of winter, I HATE SNOW. My dd school was cancled the last two days because of snow, now comes the big problem. They only have two days built into there calander for snow days, any snow days after that will be added on at end of year. This is a big problem, We will be leaving for WDW day after school gets out, now if we get anymore snow days we are in trouble.... WE have not had a snow day in three years here,I guess we were due..... NO MORE SNOW IN MO.....

when we go over our allotted snow days, our school will use Presidents Day and MLK Day as make-up days. I wouldn't worry too much about it at this point. The worst case would be they would have to miss the last couple of days of school. I know when we have had to extend the school year, those last couple of days are just worthless because grades have been posted and there really isn't much to do.

I'll be worried about that the rest of the year too. We haven't had snow yet, but we usually get several snow days a year. We are scheduled to get out of school somewhere around June 20th - if we don't get more than the allotted # of snow days. Our 20th anniversary is June 21st and we were hoping for a long weekend at WDW. It is tough to plan now as I won't know the exact day the kids will be getting out of school...

Ah, such problems...

Most districts are pretty understanding when they tack on days at the end of the year for excess snow days. I wouldn't worry about it at all.
