Snow days and UPS...

ack! My kids have had 4 snow days in the past week, and all the stuff I have ordered online is coming by UPS on the days they are here. I am runnign out of lies!!

I'm assuming your kids get all their presents from Santa.

At our house, Santa just brings one or two presents and the stockings. My kids know that any packages that come are probably presents for them (from Mom and Dad) and that they aren't allowed to go anywhere near them.

Maybe you could leave a note on the front door for UPS to leave packages in the garage or something?

Well, my sweet DS12 has figured me out. Think my DD8 has figured me out, but afraid to say anything in fear that she wont get anything lol.
So far they think that Daddy is getting some stuff.

thanks for the tip.. I never thought of that. Having the package out of sight would be alot easier.

We have had snow here for 3 days and our UPS is not delivering right now. There is a note on the tracking page "Package delayed due to weather or natural disaster" We are getting more snow tomorrow and Im hoping they will be able to get all their packages out by Christmas!!

Gosh, UPS delivered to me this afternoon in the middle of this raging storm. I think they had another delivery up the street before me, because I saw them slowly backing up the hill. They got stuck for a bit. I felt SO bad when the guy came to the door. I asked if they needed any kitty litter for traction, and he said they were fine. Told him to drive safe.

The mailman also was stuck in front of my house this afternoon. I'm so glad I don't have to drive on days like these (work in a school), but I feel awful for those of you who HAVE to drive for your jobs. Please be careful and stay safe.

My kids are suckers. I make no attempt to even hide any of the boxes as they come in. Right now my dining room is loaded with about 20 shipping boxes. They ask what they are for and I tell them they are all the gifts we give to other people and gifts for them from my father as he's really bad at wrapping so I wrap for him.

Well, I got the same message! I'm kind of mad, because they came yesterday, and the snow was way worse, and I think tomorrow will be bad again! We ordered our Christmas cards and they came Monday but were wrong, so the company resent them to arrive today. Now, it look slike they won't get here until Monday. Oh well, they'll get out eventually

That's what I say too! I'm sure they're curious why the UPS man comes almost every day from Thanksgiving to Christmas and only occasionally throughout the year!
