Snow at MGM?

My DD loves the "snow" on Main Street during the MVMCP. This year we will be arriving for vacation after the 17th, so we won't be able to attend. I thought that I had read that it snows during the viewing of the Osborne Lights? Did I just dream this up...wishful thinking? Anyone know? My DD would be so happy if she knew she would get to see it "snow!"

Thanks in advance.

You are welcome. I enjoyed the snow at the Lights. It was nice to see but know that I didn't have to shovel it, drive in it, bundle up for it. :)

I can't wait, this is the first year we will see them. The year before last, we were at MGM during the day and I didn't know if they would be worth coming back later in the week to see...wow, was I wrong. Last year, I made plans to see them only to learn before our trip they would not be up. Well, this year we will go see them. I agree, it will make it even better that I don't have to shovel the snow!

Do you go very often since you live near? I would love to be so close.

Last week they only had snow at one location. Possibly with it being a soft opening they still needed to work out some of the wrinkles -or- maybe they will only have snow in one area, near the entrance to the lights.

What time did the lights come on? exactly at 6? Was there a "lighting" ceremony? We're going to try and squeeze this in next week and need to know how early we can see them and then hop over to MVMCP. - TIA !

Amen to that! LOL!

Thanks for this info, I didn't know it "snowed" at MGM too! I'm REALLY looking forward to "warm" snow!

You could but there was a huge crowd when we went to see them Monday. MGM wasn't even busy that day. We walked onto every ride and show. If you could hold it off til another day I would.

I can confirm the fake snow at MGM. They also have fake snow at the end of Candlelight over at Epcot.
