We’re having snow here in Toronto too. And it’s making the usual crazy ramp up to completely insane. Why does a tiny bit of snow cause people to act like they’ve never been in a car before?
I am super glad it's a PD day tomorrow for my son's school (in Ottawa) so we don't have to go anywhere... first big-ish snow fall should be over night and into the morning. Doesn't sound fun! I do not like winter. But I love Canada. It's hard sometimes
I enjoy the first snowfall BUT yes everyone has forgotten how to drive in it.
We have had so many pedestrians hit and killed recently.
Slow down people.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~ ~! ~ ~ ~ ! !

I love it! The best time to go Christmas shopping is when we get a huge dumping. Driving to the mall is fun, and the mall is completely dead. It's a win-win. I need a lot more than just a few cm's of snow though.

I've had to postpone my grocery shop until tomorrow. There is no way I'm venturing out with first winter storm drivers on the road. Good day to do my ironing and paperwork.

Me too. Funny thing is school buses are cancelled. But it's a PD day. Oh well! I can walk over to Timmies for a coffee so I am all set to not go anywhere.
Do people in Southern Ontario usually get winter tires? We do here in the North, so driving isn't too bad with good winter tires, but you see people without them slipping and sliding everywhere.

I'd say that the majority get winter tires, but not all. We don't have them on the van, but we do on the car. The van's tires are better in the snow than the all seasons on the car, so they don't seem as necessary. We probably should though.
I'm in Barrie, ON and we got dumped on twice. Tuesday and again on Thursday. I was out for dinner Thursday night and could not believe how many people didn't have snow brushes in their car. I let one guy borrow mine and watched a lady take the snow off her rear window with her arm. She didn't clean off her tail or head lights or anything else before driving away. *smh* I don't have snow tires on my car yet, but they'll be on early this week. There is a tire place right across the street from my office so it is very convenient. I just have to remember to get my tires from my garage to my car! LOL
