Dreams Unlimited Travel has been invited to Hawaii to go on a special 'hard hat' tour of Aulani.

That tour takes place tomorrow but we did a 'dry run' today just to make sure we knew where to go. We are posting pictures live as we take them.

You can find those and future pictures here - http://www.dreamsunlimitedtravel.com/resorts/aulani/index.htm

Keep checking back for more!!!

Excited about this resort and looking forward to the live photos.

3 questions....
1- is the $25 parking fee for DVC members too? It is listed under regular hotel rooms but Later is listed w/o specifying if it applies to all guests. This would upset me as DVC members already pay dues and there is already an add on tax...
2-is there magical express service to/from airport, as there is at Disney locations?
3- is there a fee for aunty's beach house for DVC members and is there an age limit?

We went on a tour last month. and Aulani is unbelievable!! the pool and slides.. Wow, and then a snorkel pool with 75 different types of fish!! that wasnt finished, but we were staying at the hotel next door and we could see it from our balcony.

1. parking is free for DVC members. you can park 2 cars per day.

2. dont know about magical express.. sorry

3. Auntys beach house is free for DVC members. sorry dont know about age limit!

Thanks so much for sharing with us Webmaster John! Lucky you to be getting a sneak peek! We hope to view Aulani next year when we take DCL's Hawaii cruise. :)

In regards to something like magical express...I have called several times and have been told that they will not be offering anything to guests. So I guess it's taxis, buses, or renting cars. But you never know, I also called MS and asked about the parking charge and they told me different times that it was $25 per day even for members, then I go to the website and it states parking is complimentary for DVC members. So Disney-owned transportation may be added...eventually.

Can't wait for our September stay! Thanks for the pics!

Wonderful pictures. Definitely the best set I have seen and gives me a real sense of the inside of the resort. I am also curious about the ages for Aunty's beach house. I have an 11, 6 and 4 year old and the starting age at DVC kid's club is usually 5 but would love it if they set it a little younger for Aulani. We are going to be checking in on Sept 27th, can't wait!

Self parking is definately free for DVC members and $25 per night for hotel guests. Valet will be available at additional charge - they did not know how much yet.

Transportation from the airport will be available through a third party contractor for a charge. They did not have details on the amounts yet but it will be less than taking a cab.

My suggestion is rent a car - there is so much to see and do on the island you will be happy you did.

The kids programming will have different levels of programs available. Again they did not have details yet (very frustrating when it is only 6 weeks from opening) but my impression is that the most basic programming will be free to all resort guests then depending on what else you want your children to participate in there would be charges

From what I saw and heard about Aunty's Beach House it will be awesome!!! I have a feeling you won't be able to get your kids to leave - which is a good thing because you won't want to leave the spa.

Make sure you listen to this weeks DISUnplugged podcast - I will be calling in from Hawaii with lots of details about our visit and what we learned about Aulani.

Plus we have some video that we will be putting up soon, including an exclusive interview with one of the imagineers who worked on the project and reports directly to Joe Rohde. She 'spills the beans' on a very exciting piece of information about part of the Aulai story line that I think will make many Disney fans very excited!!!

:thanks: and :worship: The photos are terrific! Can't wait to visit Aulani.

Thank you so much for taking the pictures and posting! I cannot beleive how beautiful it is. I can't wait to see more and read more. We are hoping to go in June of 2012 as DS will be graduating HS. Can't wait until the offical opening to start hearing first hand reviews/reports.

Thanks for the great pics! We got very excited when we visited the model rooms down in WDW the end of June, but the pics are great! Looking forward to our stay in May.
