snapshots of Disneyland in the 50's

The photo's are great. Thanks. They bring back fond memories.

This page has old postcard views of the DL Hotel, which ties in with another thread about what the DLH Monorail station looked like prior to the 2001 DTD remodel. And note the first two postcards, which show the pre-Monorail DLH. The area in card #2 is exactly where the Monorail station would appear in 1961.

to the OP, Loved the photos. Any chance of getting them scanned in a much higher resolution so we can see the details more?

I really enjoyed both links (park and hotel)! In some ways many things look the same and other times I was amazed at the differences. Especially the entrance area. Thanks so much!

I'm emailing those links to my sisters and brother--the kids in those pictures could have been us! Thanks so much for sharing!
