My family is a bunch of snackers. What is offered on the cruise? My kids love fresh fruit is there someplace to get fruit throughout the day?

There are plenty of snacking oppurtunities. At Scoops, you can get ice cream and I think at times during the day they have fruit. At Pluto's Dog House they have hot dogs and hamburgers. At Pinnochio's Pizzeria they have, you guessed it, pizza. Plus, at the Topsider's/Beach Blanket Buffet you can get fruit there also, but I don't remember if there were any particular hours. Plus you might be able to order fruit from room service along with other snack foods.

Scoops had GREAT fresh fruit! Strawberries, kiwi, mango, pineapple, grapes, etc. That was my favorite place to eat.

Not only do they have fruit, they have the FRESHEST fruit I've ever had! Fruit is in abundance at the buffets, and you may take plates from the buffets back to your stateroom. You may also order all the fruit you want (free of charge) from room service. (Just remember to tip.)

Lots of fresh fruit at Scoops (all day) and room service, as well as the buffets. Near the dring station they usually had cookies and brownies set out. Pluto's had burgers, hot dogs, tacos, fries, nachos, potato chips (in a big basket out by the condiments), and other items that currently escape me. Scoops had ice cream, wraps and a ton of fruit. The buffet had fruit, cheese (including string cheese on the kids side), desserts, and more. We also took an extra box of cereal at breakfast to munch on later, as my kids treat cereal like a snack all day. Sometimes we'd save a muffin as well. Room service had cookies, ice cream, cheese and crackers and fruit. Cove Cafe had biscotti and small pastries. We never had these, so I do not know if there was a charge in Cove. The only thing missing was soft pretzel. Although I did hear they had bar-type snacks in Diversions. We never made it there so I don't know what all that included. Finally, for a charge, there were items outside the Mickey theatre for sale - candy, nuts, popcorn, etc.

Okay, So now I have a question to add to the snack questions...With all the snacks the ship has to offer...which ones are included and what ones carry an additional fee. I know the popcorn..and goodies near the theater are for sale.. and the roomservice items is just the tip...but what about the items in The Cove??...or Diversions??? or other places??? anyone know.

the fruit and ice cream at scoops, pizza, hamburgers and hotdogs, pizza, pretzels all on deck 9 are at no charge.... trust me we just got back yesterday and it can be just on big meal from the time you leave until you get back and never pay another dime ... the kids will not have a problem finding something to eat... not to mention you can call room service and they will bring all the food to your room at no charge (just a tip)
If you order the sodas to the room there is a charge, but you can go to deck 9 aft and sodas are FREE...
hope this helps
