Hi all!

I'm looking for some recommendations for snacks found in the parks and in Downtown Disney.

Please tell me what you like to snack on and where I can find it.

Feel free to include pictures if you have them.

Thanks!

Pickles (any fruit cart in either park)
Churros (all over both parks)
Dole Whip (in Adventureland)
Mickey Cake Pops (All three candy shops)

I highly recommend checking out the Disneyland Dining Reviews with Picture thread. You'll find lots of photos and comments about various food offerings in the parks, including snacks.

Some of my favorites include:
  • Dole Whip Float (Tiki Bar, DL)
  • Mickey Beignets (Mint Julep Bar, DL)
  • Mickey Macaroon (Jolly Holiday, DL)
  • Funnel Cake (Stage Door Cafe, DL)
  • Oswald Sundae (Clarabelle's, DCA)
  • Churros (Various Locations in Both Parks)
  • Popcorn (Various Locations in Both Parks)

My absolute favorite snack is the Raspberry Mickey macaroon which is pictured in figment_jii's latest post on the food thread mentioned above! Oh man, it's sweet as meringue based treats can be, but with the tart raspberries mixed in, it is near perfection!

In my opinion, most DL snacks are perfect sharing size, and my hubby and I split everything. That way you're in the mood to try more things!

I also love the Frozen Lemonade and most of the sweet treats in the Main Street candy store, and there are lots of caramel apple options. Lots of good food souvenir options in that place!

Popcorn is popular, but I must have gotten an old batch when we tried because I did not see what would entice a following of admirers...

Some of my family's favorites:

-Dole whip float
-beer and a Mickey pretzel from Bayside Brews at DCA
-Chocolate covered Mickey Rice Krispie treats (my son's favorite)
-Beignets from Ralph Brennan's in DTD
-Ice cream sundae from Ghiradelli in DCA.

One of my favorite things when I do not want a crap food overdose has become the Mango Slices available at several locations throughout both parks.

From Cozy Cone 4 in DCA: the pretzel bites with cheese and the frozen lemonade. It's more like a lemonade slush..not the other frozen lemonades in the park. (which are also good!)

Mickey Beignets from Mint Julep Bar

Some of my favorite snacks are:

  • Churros (at carts all over both parks)
  • Dole Whip (Adventureland)
  • Bengal BBQ skewers (Adventureland) are great for a small protein snack
  • Churro Bites w/ chocolate dip at the Cozy Cone in DCA
  • Mickey Pretzel stuffed w/ cream cheese from the Coke Refreshment Corner
  • Giant peanut butter cookies from Pooh Corner or Marceline's Confectionary

Mmmm loving this thread so far. We will be heading back to DLR for our second trip in June. This is what I am looking forward to getting when we return.

1) Dole Whip Float
2) Mint Julep (loved this the last time we were there, this is what I am most looking forward to since you can only get it exclusively at DL)
3) Churros from everywhere
4) Popcorn (absolutely love Disney popcorn from either DL or WDW)
5) Ice Cream Sundae from Gibson Girls
6) Matterhorn Macaroon
7) Tigger Tail (can't get these in WDW)

I always make a point to get a Tigger Tail or Magic Wand (I think that's what it's called? Same concept as Tigger Tail but its dipped in milk or dark chocolate and not orange like the Tigger Tails) from Pooh's Corner. Also, the ginormous chocolate chip cookies there are to die for! All this time I thought you could only get those treats back in Pooh's Corner but on my last visit, we stopped by Marceline's Confectionary in DTD and I saw them all in there too!

Chocolate croissant. Used to be at Blue Ribbon Bakery. I'm guessing Jolly Holiday probably has them.
Churro
Funnel cake
Chocolate twist - Maurice's treats
Veggies with ranch

They also have pineapple spears (in the candy shop they have them with chocolate).
hummus with pretzel sticks
mango slices with lime & chili powder -- soooo good!

I also like the soft pretzels with jalapeño cheese melted inside - so good!

Thanks for all the info everyone! I can't wait to be there.

Keep the info coming!

How about a Kitchen Sink at DCA

Or a Tigger Tail at DL

Now technically this is not a snack but how about an Apres Park adult beverage like an Uh Oha at Trader Sam's. :drinking1
