Hubby and I were looking at a date night at Epcot while the kids are at the kid's activity center at AKL (only one that is available) - rather than spend 60-90 minutes at a sit down restaurant, we are considering maybe a "snack around the world" type date so we can check out some of the countries - what are your favourite "grab and go" or quick service treats/foods to get while snacking around the world. Unfortunately our trip is before food and wine, so have to stick to the standards....

Anything at Les Halles in France is delicious!! We tried three different things last year and loved it :)

Mine would be mostly on the sweet vice savory side. Cronut at refreshment port, school bread in Norway, and anything caramel from karmel kuche in Germany.

Well I was going to reply, but @kastoney pretty much used all my answers :P Except to suggest washing your snacks down with a Grey Goose Slush from France :drinking1

DF and I plan on doing this on our trip too! I actually have a list of snacks I want to get from the countries, some I've never tried, some are every-trip musts:

UK- Fish n chips
France- Frangipane from Les Halles Boulangerie Patisserie
Japan- Kaki-Gori shave ice
Italy- I'm hoping I can purchase a Tiramisu from Via Napoli without eating there, but I'm doubtful
Germany- Apple strudel, something from Karmel Kuche, and a soft pretzel
China- Assorted candies to bring home
Norway- School bread and an almond pretzel
Mexico- Margarita flight

Have a fun date night!

Snacking around the world is the best!!!

UK- fish n chips
France- anything from les halles, Grey Goose slush
Germany- caramel squares from Karamell Kuche, pretzel
Mexico- nachos and margaritas

Man, now I'm really wanting to go to Epcot!!

I agree with everyone about Les Halles, but also in the France pavilion try to make it to L'Artisan des Glaces and get one of the macaron ice cream sandwiches.
