When you use one of your snacks, it is up to $4. Does this mean you can get a few items until you hit the $4?

TIA

Nope. It means that most snacks priced under $4 are covered by the plan. It doesn't matter if it's a $1.50 item or a $3.99 item - both require 1 snack credit.

also, it is no longer items under $4, it is for single serving size..

In the past you could get a whole box of donuts because it was under $4, but now it is only for single servings.

The menu boards now have a little icon...pink/purple circle with DP for all the items that you can use a snack credit. You only get 1 though, so sometimes it would be worthwhile to pay cash for the less expensive stuff if you know you're going to want a second snack later. In other words...if you want a soda now, but you know later you're going to want a Dole Whip....pay for the soda as it's only $2...and the Dole Whip is $3 something.

Yeah but don't be too frugal with your snack credits. We saved them last year, paying for cheaper things like bottles of water and ended up having to use up around 11 snack credits on the last day!

Well, true....but then you can take home a stack of mickey rice krispies, or stuff from Goofy's candy store in DTD, lol.

That's exactly what we did! Went round Goofys and grabbed loads of bags of sweets (not sure if they still count as a snack credit?) then took then back home for work colleagues.

Aw, but you can get a McFlurry at home anytime, and for a lot less than $4. Go ahead and use that credit to try something new, ESPECIALLY in WS, where so much of the food isn't readily available at home.

I had a strange incident at Goofy's May 9th. I seldom use alot of snack credits at WDW, so usually go to Goofy's on my last day to use up all my snack credits and have never had a problem getting all the fudge I want, to bring home. This past trip I asked the lady behind the counter if fudge was still included and she said yes. I chose four pieces of fudge, among my other snacks. When I checked out, the lady at the register said only two pieces of fudge at a time could be used for snack credits. I told her I had gotten six pieces when I was there in Dec and she said the rules had changed to allow only two pieces at a time. The lady at the next register told her she had gotten three pieces to go through earlier. I asked her to try it and if not, I would just choose two different snacks, no problem! Well she did and it went through fine. It didn't make sense to me that I could get seven mint smoothie slabs which cost the same as the fudge., but she said the she had been told the rules had changed. It was the same lady that's worked there, I know for at least a year or two. I believe she may be Indian, anyway, my point is she was not a new employee. She's checked me out before and is always very nice and knowledgeable.

When we go in Sept we will be on the DxDDP and with two snacks/day know we will have alot to use up at Goofy's on our last day. I am going hoping to bring back a bunch of fudge, but prepared just in case the rules really have changed. No problem, they have lots of other stuff we like, besides fudge.
