Snack/Drink credits on the dining plan

Is there anywhere that lists what counts as a snack or drink credit on the dining plan? I am an AP holder and plan on taking advantage of the buy one get one 50% off deal in the next few days.

I've heard that butterbeer counts as a snack but not as a drink, and that the Harry Potter ice cream may be a snack...but I'd love to look at a list if it exists anywhere.

There isn't a list. Any specialty drink is a snack. The best snack deal is the big pink donut at Springfield. All ice cream is a snack.

All the website says is, "Snack options include pretzels, churros, Butterbeer™, ice cream, funnel cake, Dippin' Dots, chips and much more!"

Thanks! That list they have of snack locations was actually pretty helpful. We've never used the dining plan before but I think if we use it at Leaky Cauldron and Three Broomsticks it'll be a good deal, especially with the buy one get one 50% off.

It is a really good deal. Drinks like the green boba tea and orange fizz at harry potter are snacks as well- but the lemonade, peach tea and gilly water are just a "drink" you can get with your meal.
Desserts at the restaurants are also snacks- like the toffee cake at Leaky.

The buy one get one 50% off is a no-brainer if youre eating at LK/TB. Also- you don't have to use all the credits the same day, even though the fine print says so. So if you still have a "drink" or "snack" leftover on your card, you can use it the last day (I left with 9 waters and 4 big pink donuts my last day)

You can also buy a kids meal for the same deal- that isn't advertised. I want to say it's 13.99 ($7 Half price) and still includes a full snack, drink, and KIDS meal w/ drink.

However, depending on the meals you want, getting the regular meal plan could still be a deal. You can purchase the meal plan at the counter right before you order as well, so you can buy it when you figure out what you want in line and if it'd be a deal.

Just some random info from my recent trip

The Harry Potter ice cream is a snack - as I got one of those each day - at 6.99 it's a good "deal" on the plan.
Im not sure if you can get a topping as well - I suspect not and it was two busy to even ask
Unfortunately most of the stuff in "the wizarding world" is not marked - i assume that is one of the many rules in place.
Also for some reason hot/cold butter beer is a beverage at breakfast at the Leaky Cauldron..but not at lunch.
Some of the carts are cash only - so that is a small hassle as well - but they will point you to another cart in the area that is not cash only - its not a big deal

The shakes at Jurassic park are a beverage when you order the combo meal - like chicken - but not as a beverage when you order the ribs and add it as a drink..a bit odd.

Not sure there is a clear answer on this....at lunch I could not get a butter beer as my beverage...even though the lunch meal is cheaper than the breakfast meal.
At breakfast you can get a hot or cold butter beer.
It may just depend on the cashier..Im not sure since nothing is marked in the "Wizardign World"
You may just have to ask when you order.

Could be that it is so profitable that they can do that I guess. 16.99 is a bit much for a traditional breakfast...especially since you don't get a choice of fried eggs, the black pudding is not the best and it is missing the white pudding. Still with the UD plan it was worth getting.
