Snack credits at Poly Pools??

My DH is a bonafide foodie and as much time as he's at the pool (which will be as often as possible) he likes to use his snack credits poolside and he said Contemporary is the only resort that allows or is set up for this. Is that true??

In particular we're now thinking we want to stay at the Poly and wondering if anyone was able to use their snack credits at the Poly pool. TIA!

I was able to use snack credits at the CSR and OKW pool so I don't think your DH is correct but we've never stayed at the Poly

Maybe your DH just really wants to go back to CR it is one of my favorites too. We almost went there for the 3rd time this year but my family outvoted me and chose YC.

I think the pool bar at the Lava Pool has limited items that are snack-credit eligible; I've not been to Oasis yet, but my guess is the smoothies and lemonade can be purchased with a snack credit. (Just looked at the menu on Disney Food Blog -- yes, it's the smoothies, and the dessert doughnuts only marked with Snack logos.)

You can absolutely use snack credits at the Animal Kingdom Villas pools and Coronado, as well as at Saratoga.

He may be thinking of what the food offerings look like, I don't know. The Sand Bar has more crunchy-snacks Snack Credit things than most pool bars. Most pool bars have limited food-type menus, and much of the food doesn't qualify for Snack Credits on DDP.

It wouldn't surprise me. I'm just over the CR at this point. Booked at Boardwalk Inn, but just changed to the Poly because I've really been wanting to stay there. DH wont talk about it further though until we come back from our Turks & Caicos trip in late August. So I'm left to change things around without him knowing until then.

I booked BWI with free dining and then when YC became available I switched, my DH was feeling really sick so I didn't tell him anything about the trip until he was on the mend. Then one day I saw garden wing CR with free dining so I double booked because I couldn't decide between YC and CR so I know how that is

It is close enough to the pool to make no never mind, but it's outside the pool gate (as is Captain Cook's).

Pineapple Lanai does not have ice cream bars. It has... DOLE WHIP.


If he wants a bar, that can be procured at Captain Cook's, which has a terrace outside near the Lava Pool, but is the main QS for the resort. It is very close to the pool as well.
