Looking for shuttle service for our trip in July. Can't do the Disneyland Express bus this time because our return flight leaves at 7am from SNA, and the bus doesn't pick up early enough. Most shuttles I've looked into will be at least $40 each way, with the majority quoting $60 each way for 4 of us. Then I looked at John Wayne Airport Shuttle Association, and they quote $64 round trip, seems a little too good to be true. :confused3 Has anyone had experience with this "Association"?

I have never heard of them.

I've used SuperShuttle and Karmel Shuttle, though. I personally like Karmel a bit better, but others have had the opposite experience.

A taxi should be about $40 total, plus tip, for all of you. Sounds much better than a shuttle. DW & I took a taxi from/to SNA last October, and had good experiences.

You can do one-way tickets for the Disneyland Resort Express on your arrival date. If you do that, be sure to print out the $5 off coupons. Then, if you have a car seat, you can rent a taxi for your return trip. You can buy a special rate at the front desk of any Disney hotel I think.

If you do not have a car seat, and require a bus, maybe inquire about the ART.

Our family used SNA shuttle association round trip, two years in a row. The first year wasn't too bad, the van wasn't the newest, but it was quick no other passengers, and there was no waiting for it at the airport. The next year, when they chose a van for us it was smelly, and sounded like it was going to break down any moment. :scared1:It got us there with no other problems though, and when we phoned for our ride back we mentioned we didn't want that van again. They took our concerns seriously asked for the other drivers name, and sent us a van that was much better for the return trip.
So if you decide to go with them, make sure you take a look inside the van you choose, and tell the coordinator if it is not acceptable. If you do that I think it's a good deal.

Thanks for sharing your experience. Glad to know that I can speak up if I'm not happy with the quality of the shuttle. $8 per person each way is cheaper than a Taxi, I think. Did they arrive in good time to pick you up on the way back? Did you make a reservation ahead of time for your pick up at the airport, or did you just show up?

Yes we had the exclusive van service since there were 6 of us. So I can only speak for that, not the shared van service. The first year, the guy arrived about an hour before my reserved pick up time, he tried to call the night before to tell me he'd be early to avoid traffic, but I missed getting the message because I did not check my phone. So we kind of rushed around getting everything together since we were not expecting to leave so early, but He waited for us in the parking lot.
The next year, the van was right on time for the pre-arranged pick up. They give you a card to call the night before to set up your pick up time for the next day.

When we got the van from he airport, our directions said to look for the coordinator in the orange? coat. We easily spotted him, showed him the print out of our reservation. He walked over and spoke to a van driver and then introduced him as our driver to take us to the hotel.
