Smugglers Run Wait Times

Though I’d start a post here for those who have been and those waiting to visit. I was wondering about this from home, so hopefully others will weigh in!

When have you tried SR? Time of day, actual wait time, other tips, etc?

Went to SWGE last night. Got into line for SR at about 8:30pm. Wait time said 60 minutes. We waited max 40 minutes. Rider Switch had DH & DS back on in 5 minutes after we exited. DS got pilot both times! First time the other pilot (lovely lady!!) told my son to take the right-hand seat. The Jump to Light Speed Seat??!! Are you serious!! The only thing better than seeing DS face in the pilot seat was handing him a pair of Han’s dice after he successfully piloted the Falcon and Hondo was very pleased...LOVE that Disney Magic!!

We got in line tonight (Saturday) at 10:30. Wait time was posted as 50 minutes. I got gunner and my son and husband both got engineer. We were off the ride by 11:20. I think our pilots both could have used flying lessons.

Yeah, when DH was pilot (with DS also pilot) he said he flew so bad that Hondo was yelling at him the whole time and garnished all the crew’s wages at the end for DH’s poor piloting skills!!
DS SOOOOO embarrassed!! Lol

Yes, once ROTR is up, the plan is for both rides to have FP. The queue is there. Currently VIP tours use it. But this way, it isn't blowing up the MP system. I figure by November, it should be on the FP grid.

I wish they wouldn’t. It’s so nice to have the line humming along like it is now.
