Hi guys,
I thought I would share my newest Pumpkin Smoothie as well as my regular and PB smoothie. I eat these often for breakfast and sometimes my snack at night when DH and the kids are eating Ice cream. I don't eat ice cream or sweets that often, so this is my version of something cold, icy and smooth. Not everyone will like this because of the tang of the yogurt, but I absolutely adore it.

Pumpkin Smooothie
1 cup Plain nonfat Yogurt like stoneyfield farms. Make sure it has no added sugars (but it will still have around 15g of naturally occuring lactose sugar).
1 banana (fresh or frozen)
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 cup cooked canned 100% pumpkin
6 ice cubes
Blend until smooth!

Other's I like
Fruit smoothie
1 cup plain nonfat yogurt
1 banana (fresh or frozen)
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 cup frozen fruit (pineapple and strawberry is great) - use any kind you like or have on hand.
6 ice cubes

Peanut Butter smoothie
1 cup plain nonfat yogurt
1 banana (fresh or frozen)
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 tbsp peanut butter
6 ice cubes

Use your imagination - The basic yogurt, banana, ice cube and cinnamon will go with many things. Be creative. I'm thinking of trying butternut squash too.

We got a magic bullet blender on Black Friday and It really makes it easy (the cup is a bit small though) to make these. Prior to this I always used my blender. I must say the magic bullet motor is really strong and really chops this quickly.
