Staying at Pop in Oct. are there still smoking sections around the resort? I know you can not smoke in the parks. Any new resort maps that show smoking sections?

Yes all resorts have dedicated outdoor smoking areas.

Your question had me curious - so I did some googling.

You can also find the general area of smoking areas in the MDE app.
Load app.
Click on the bottom right icon (3 bars)
Click on Resort Hotel
Up at the top, below the picture of the resort, towards the right click on Guest Services
Scroll to "Designated Smoking Areas" (and click)
Click on "Find on Map"
then you'll get a huge overview map of WDW so you'll have to zoom in and move the map around to find Pop Century and then zoom in to see which of the 10 smoking areas you'll be closest to.
(also handy for finding where the smoking areas are outside of the parks, if you don't know already)
