Hi, odd question here.
We stayed at Boardwalk Villas last month, renting DVC points, and the smoking rooms were as far from the lobby as you can get. Someone on another thread had measured (it's that long) and came up with the length of 2 1/2 football fields (yes, we were in the infamous 2136, as well as in the next two rooms over)
We don't smoke, but my parents do. My mother is in a wheelchair, and my father has health problems (nothing to do with smoking, yes I know they should stop, but that's not what this thread is about). My question is this:
Is there any website that shows WHERE the smoking rooms are in DVC resorts? Or can you tell me where YOUR smoking room was, in relation to the elevators or the lobby (my dad always valet parks). The distance from the lobby and the elevators made it extremely difficult for my parents - they became so exhaused that they ended up spending Friday in their room, unable to come into the parks. To even get a cup of coffee was a huge ordeal. We would choose a resort the next time that was 'kinder'. Any ideas?
Thanks, and again, I know they shouldn't smoke, so I appreciate your thoughts in that regard, but that's not what this is about - it's about trying to assist a pair of really nice elderly people.

(and I have posted this on the Disney Resorts board, too, worded slightly differently)
