I am taking my husband on a surprise Illuminations Cruise this July, but I read one review that said the smoke from Illuminations was unbearable. We will be bringing our one year old along and I am afraid the smoke will be too much for him. Has anyone else had this experience? Maybe it just depends on the direction of the wind. Any suggestions?

If there is a breeze in your direction, you will get some smoke, however, it was nothing unbearable.

I have bad asthma, and I never had a problem, and it was pretty breezy the night we went on the cruise.

I think you should be fine. We parked under a bridge, and only had to deal with some of the smoke a bit - not through the whole thing.

I've scene illumintions probably 20+ times and only one time have I been bothered by smoke...I was standing outside the Rose & Crown pub.

I have taken a illuminations cruise 5 times and have never been bothered by the smoke..

I think you should be oK...

Went on an Illuminations cruise in Dec. with no problems. It was wonderful!!!
