In researching my possible booking with Abercrombie and Kent for March, 2012, I've discovered that Smithsonian Journeys also has incentives for booking Egypt in 2012. Instead of slashing the tour price, they include airfare from NYC as well as airfare on the tour, a savings of about $1800 pp.
