As it is exactly one month til we are once again in DLP I thought I would start a pre trippie.
:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

So to start...

The cast:
DH - a few months older than when we went last time :drive:

Me - a few months older than when we went last time :tigger:

DD - Charys - 8 -Loves everything about Disney especially BTM and meeting the characters princess:

Last time we went we took DS as well and the time before we took DGM so it will be nice to just have the 3 of us again

The plans:

Staying at Sequioa Lodge - Montana Lakeside room
Trying half board plus for first time
Last trip before APs run out

We are leaving home on Sunday 20th July to drive :moped: from the Sunny North to Ashford where we will stay (hopefully) in the Travel Lodge there. I say hopefully as we've not booked it yet. Must do this soon.

Monday 21st July - Booked onto 6.50 Eurotunnel so will be up very early and may even get an earlier one (if there is one). Once we arrive in France we will then drive to DLP and hopefully arrive by lunch time. After collecting our meal vouchers we will then head to the Village and grab a meal at Annettes probably then head into the park. We also have the tea party booked for the 2nd sitting.

We are there til Friday 25th and celebrate our wedding anniversary on 24th - 26 years:scared1: (We were only 10 when we got married!!!!!!!:rotfl: )

We intend to have as relaxing time as possible by making the most of EMH and late evenings and returning to the hotel mid day for a swim or saunter round the other hotels including DLH making it look as though we are staying there of course and cocktails will be sampled throughout!!

Must do rides are BTM again and again and again, POTC again and again and again and TOT if decide to be brave enough again (maybe even more than once:scared1: )

25th we then head across France to Brittany where we will be staying in a mobile home at a site near Dol de Bretagne. We have been to this site a few times but not for about 4 years so are looking forward to going there again. We then have 11 days of relaxation before heading back to Calais for a night and back through the tunnel.

More plans to follow as and when made...

Sounds like a good plan! :)

I would love to go DLP then go camping for a few days, must speak to my dad about that lol.

Sounds fab- I adore Brittany and DLRP!!

What are your plans for the night of your anniversary?? Any special meals planned? Or just a night of scaring yourself witless on TOT??! (Seriously, hats off to you for doing that one!! I would be like this: :scared1: )!!

We are eating in Inventions on the night of our anniversary. We loved this place last time so want to go back again. Followed or preceded by a cocktail in the DLH bar.

We have booked our restaurants today.

We opted to get half board plus vouchers mainly so we could prepay in £.

We have eaten several times at Walts and really loved it and couldnt decide whether to go again but we really wanted to try some different places so plans are:

Arrive Mon about lunch so will grab a meal at Annettes before going into the park. We then have character tea party at 5/5.30

Tuesday - Will try to get late GMF breakfast. if we cant we'll have early breakfast in the hotel. We then have booked Agrabah for 4.30. We may possibly grab a quick snack at some point before this but probably not especially if we have a late GMF

Wed -Again will try for late GMF, if not breakfast in hotel. We then have booking for Silver Spur at 2.00. We'll then grab a snack late evening from somewhere

Th - Anniversary. Breakfast wherever, snack at lunch time then Inventions at 6.00 when it opens. We are going to go in earlier and ask for a table by the window and mention its our anniversary

Friday - leaving DLP today but may have lunch before we go. We wont have a voucher unless we are late arriving on the Monday. if this happens we will probably go straight to the parks as we have the tickets already. We'll then do some rides and grab a snack. DH will nip to S Lodge to book in and collect voucher for tea party. In this case we'll have a voucher left so will use it on Friday to have lunch before we go.

We are really looking forward to Agrabah and Silver Spur as we've never eaten at these places before and heard really good reports about Agrabah.

I did think about that as I was writing it but I quite fancy the idea of going back into the park to end the night riding BTM and Im not sure how 2 cocktails, the free kir we get and the massive amount of food Im bound to eat will react.

We've just spent 2 hrs trawling the internet for an extra 2 nights accomodation at the beginning of the holiday.
We are due to go through the tunnel early Mon am 21st July which was booked through Keycamp as part of our holiday with them after our DLP days.

DH suggested tonight that instead of waiting til Mon am and then dashing to get there eager to get into the park we go down to Ashford Friday evening then travel through the tunnel overnight and have a leisurely 2 days at DLP.

He is going to phone Keycamp tomorrow to see how much extra we have to pay if change this and also going to phone Eurotunnel direct to see what the difference would be.

We would also need somewhere reasonably cheap to stay but would quite like a swimming pool as we would have a couple of relaxing days and not go too mad in the parks although I cant see us staying away altogether.
We have looked at Explorers and Holiday Inn - stayed at both before and happy with them.
Kyriad seems a bit cheaper but doesnt seem to have a pool - is this right?
Marriott is coming up very expensive
We will also phone Disney to see what AP discounts they can offer on other onsite hotels. We had a lovely relaxing day at DCR before our Easter trip so this would be an option depending on price

We've also looked at the BB that Sandra recomended and it looks lovely (obviously no pool) and reasonably priced

Other ideas welcome.

Well we've done it - we've added an extra 2 days onto our booking at the beginning of our holiday.

We have changed the Eurotunnel crossing to Early Sat am- 6.20am (will travel down to Ashford overnight) with only admin costs to pay for change -£25 - to Keycamp as 'tickets' already been issued. Rang Eurotunnel to see if can change it with them without this cost but as we booked it with Keycamp it has to be changed with them.

We have also booked Explorers through Benotel for Sat and Sun night before moving onto our original booking at S Lodge.
We intend to travel leisurely to DLP on the Saturday and spend the rest of that day and Sunday relaxing, enjoying the pool at Explorers, browsing in the shops and perhaps just popping in for the odd ride (BTM, BTM, BTM, POTC)

It also means we'll be there early on Mon am so can do more that day.

2 Extra days :dance3: :dance3:

Wow! That's awesome! And it brings your holiday 2 days closer!!!

This was so exciting to read that I'm off to do my pre TR now!! :-)
