Small World closures?

My brain is scrambled from conflicting information, please help! Is it's a small world currently closed? Or is there a planned closure soon? Are there ongoing water issues? Is there a yearly closure for holiday overlays, and if so, what were the dates for that last year?

As you can tell by my panicked barrage of comments, small world is my favorite, but I've only ever been on it at WDW. I'm currently planning my first-ever trip to DLR (likely for October or November), and missing out on this version would break my heart!

If you want the regular version and not the holiday version, you want to go as early in October as you can. It will go down for the holiday overlay in October, I can't remember the exact date range it typical goes down. It will come back up with the holiday version when the holidays start at DLR, which is usually the second week in November.

Go in the beginning of October, or the end of November. As @SOCALMouseMommy said, it will go down for the holiday overlay sometime mid to late October, and be back up by mid-November. However, I prefer the holiday version so I'd probably time it for that!
