My daughter has a small tumor on her ankle nothing to worry about . But until she gets it removed in January she has a hard time standing and when she walks it can hurt. Would I be able to try for DAS? Do they need medical records?

DAS is not for mobility issues. She likely will not receive.
You don't say how old. If she can use a stroller then she can get a tag for her stroller for it to be used as a wheelchair. You get that at guest relations. This allows you to take it through lines.
If she is older I would rent a wheelchair or bring your own. Resorts, bus lines, Disney Springs all can involve lots of walking or standing so I'd want one 24/7. If you don't want something that bulky, a rollator would work and she could sit whenever she wants. Both of those can be taken through the lines.
