Slower Airport Day? Saturday or Monday after Thanksgiving?

Travelling with 1 toddler and 1 in a wheelchair (which is always fun in the security screening).

Which day would you think would be slower at the airport, the Saturday or Monday after Thanksgiving? I would think Monday would be slower, but I've noticed that many airlines black out that day for deals.

Another factor would be the resorts. I would guess that the resorts would be crazy on that Saturday with checking in.

Anyone have any experience, advice?

Many thanks,

I would check the rates on both days, and whichever rates are cheaper will likely be less busy.

Most likely Saturday will be slower. People are already where they are going for the most part. A lot of people will take the extra day and come home Monday, plus you'll get a TON of busines travelers that Monday.

I tend to doubt there are many check-ins/outs on Saturday two days after Thanksgiving. Sunday however is nuts.

I routinely fly home from Boston late that Saturday night and it's never been very busy. Not sure how that translates to MCO, but I would think it would be easier then Monday which has people who streched the weekend and business travelers going back to work.

We have flown back from MCO to PVD on Monday. The airport is pretty crowded but to fly home on Monday is usually cheaper than Saturday if that is a factor. Many of the return flights were blacked out on SW and the one I booked was a bit high but I am hoping it will come down a little. Last year I was not able to get a return on Saturday so that is the reason we chose Monday. It was rather nice at the resort many checked out on Saturday and it was great to stay until Monday.Have a great trip!
