Slow response when typing a post

When creating a new post or replying to one, the interface is slow to respond and misses some key strokes. Ironically, it is working great for this post, but has the problem on pages where it is displaying several other posts.

Hi Iborne, I am reading your post having posted a similar topic. LOL, it is working wonderfully for this post for me, too. I am sorry you are also having issues. Hope it gets fixed for us both and anyone else. P.S. Do you see the smilie box on your computer? I do not on mine that was the other issue I mentioned. Have a great weekend.

The smilie link is in the tool bar at the top (at least for me), is that what you're asking about?

I’m back to typing in Word to copy/paste in this box as it is acting up again—leaving out letters. I will go look on the Vista computer in a little while. I think I actually see a smilie box or maybe it is more like the toolbar I am looking at right on here (Word) where there is a regular and then that opens into seeing all the others. I will check and post back. On this computer, there are no smilies that I see or choice of font/color. On the old Disboard forum, I did see the smilies all the time and on this same computer.

I am on the Vista computer right now. On here, above this reply box is a toolbar. That is missing on the Win 7, IE 11 computer. I have had no trouble typing this mesage or logging in from this computer. What type of computer do you use PrincessShmoo and Iborne, too?

On the old DISboards, there was a selection of smilies always visible (as well as others you could click a link to find). On the new boards, the reply window is set up more like other websites with the toolbar providing links to font color/size; selecting fonts; linking; bullets and numbering; smilies; formatting and other options. These are all found at the top of the reply window.
