Slow for you?

The boards seem to be loading slower for me today. Other websites do not seem to be doing this. Just curious if it were just me or if others were having the same thing.

Yep, they're slow and I've gotten the "the boards will return momentarily" message a couple of times.

The server loads are REALLY high today for some reason, lots of folks online, and that slows things down, unfortunately.

I think I found the problem, PHP accelerator wasn't loading...

It seems slower for me today too. But it always loads slow when there are all those wonderful pictures that eveyone has to post with their messages, I have dailup connection (thats all I can get for now) and sometimes it's just to long waiting for everything (pictures ) to load.

if you go into user cp then options you can turn off the viewing of signatures, avatars AND images... you will be absolutely amazed at how much faster the boards are.
