Does Santa visit your home?

21.gif

My girls are 8 & 3 and both believe in Santa :santa: - so therefore, Santa comes to our house. Even before we had children, we had Santa visit our house and fill our stockings :santa:

I really love the spirit of Santa :santa: and even when my children don't believe anymore, Santa will still come to our house :santa: :teeth:

Poll coming!!!

Yep, both the 11.5 and 9.5 year olds still write Santa a wish list. DD is dying to go see Santa at the mall. Every time we go to leave the house, she asks if we are going to the mall, as she needs to get her list.

Nope. DD is 17. But we do have a new granddaughter (stepson's child), so I think Santa might be making an appearance in the next couple years again. :)

DH and I don't trade Santa gifts, but I very much believe in Santa. :)

DH and I are foregoing giving to each other this year because we wanted to give the girls an extra present this year so we are taking them to Boston on the 27 th for a few days and are surprising them with Disney on Ice 's 100 years of Magic!

Nope, my boys are older now and they don't believe in Santa. Not even the 10 yo. :(

My 12 year old DS doesn't believe now but our 4 year old does so yes, Santa definitely visits our house :)

Not sure how to vote.
Kids are grown.....but still "Believe" ;)
Santa fills our stockings.

I had to vote other, but Santa does visit our house. My 8 year old son still believes, so his 17 year old sister gets gifts from Santa as well. I hadn't considered if Santa will keep visiting after my son figures it out.

Since we have no kids, our house gets visited by Santa PAWS. He drops of Bones, Fetchy-Balls, and Kitty treats. :santa: pluto: pug: :cat:

No kids here, so Santa doesn't really come. I guess the cats technically get Santa gifts and even at my dad's house we have Santa gifts as well... but between my DH and I, we don't do "Santa". If we have kids, I know that will change :)

My kids get gifts, but I've never taught them that Santa is the one who brings them. I've always tried to instill in them the real meaning of Christmas.

I had to pick other. My kids are still younger enough that they could believe in Santa, and we have never gone out of our way to make them not believe, but my son, when he was about 5 pretty much figured it out on his own, and he of course shared his wisdom with his little sister.
In a way, it's easier now. Now all the gifts come from the people who actually bought them, and no need trying to figure out how to answer all the "how could Santa..." questions.

And, as another poster mentioned, I think it is easier to focus on the real reason for the season when a child is not just focusing everything on Santa. I don't have a problem at all with believing in Santa, but I am just as happy not having to do the Santa thing either.

I'm 33 and I still believe in Santa. He always visits my house after I go to bed on christmas eve. It's a tradition that I hope to keep alive for many years to come.

Kids ages 22, 20 and 16 each get a stocking filled on Christmas Eve from Santa. They also get 1 gift from the jolly old man. :thumbsup2

DD is 10 and her mother confirmed suspicions about SC last year. DS is 6 and it's all real to him!!! :santa:

St Nick comes on Dec 5 (St Nick's Eve) and leaves stuff but Santa does not come at Christmas.
