I don’t watch much traditional tv at all, mostly YouTube vlogs and movies. And I tend to watch limited run series

Severance, Ted Lasso(Apple TV)

Murderville, Kominsky Method(Netflix)

This Is Us (NBC)
Chicago Med/Fire/PD ( NBC)
A Million Little Things (ABC)
Cleaning Lady (FOX)
Tournament of Champions (FOOD NETWORK)
Spring Baking Championship (FOOD NETWORK)
The Good Doctor (ABC)
The Resident (ABC)
Law and Order SVU(NBC)
Law and Order Organized Crime (NBC)
Big Sky (ABC)
90 Day Fiancé Pillow Talk (TLC)
Was watching Amazing Race, Now starting Survivor again

Yikes that's a lot of TV!

I've never heard of most shows here. Maybe some good ones I'm missing?
Dan have you ever watched Blue Bloods? It's a real old school style cop show set in NYC with Tom Selleck and a very good cast. It's in its 12th season on CBS, if you like it you can see all 12 seasons on Paramount Plus.

I don't really have "a series" I am binge-watching right now. We will watch the news, and and stuff. We will watch New Amsterdam and Law and Order SVU if it casually if it comes handy. I have been so busy lately that I haven't had time. Last series I watched was Sweet Magnolias, and And Just Like That.

I think it jumps around too much and although I know all the medical and first responder type shows tend to stray far far from reality, this one is even more far fetched than most IMO. Plus, although I like Helen and Max, I don’t like them together. The pairing just doesn’t work for me and it is a big part of the show.

I almost gave this one up as well. It bothers me when medical shows go from fighting diseases to fighting bad authority figures! (Same thing happened to me with House years ago.)

I have not, Ron. I might look it up, but really am not a series guy. Thanks for the heads up. Old school sounds interesting. Maybe like Dragnet or Streets of San Francisco.

I set up a TiVo One Pass to record.

Going to give this new life after a year because I just watched "The Peripheral" and "The Devil's Hour" They are both Amazon Prime shows and they are both excellent. You certainly have to pay attention to both as they are both difficult to follow if you are not committed.

The Peripheral is a sci-fi drama that deals with virtual reality, time travel (kind of) and alternate time lines. It is really good if you are into those types of programs.

The Devil's Hour is a tense and at times dark and unsettling, crime drama that deals with pre-cognition, ghosts, Autism, Alzheimer's, and a serial killer. It is extremely enthralling and often the hour long episodes feel like 20 minutes. There are only 6 total episodes, so its not a huge show that is going to deprive you of a bunch of time.

I highly recommend both shows.

I watch whatever happens to be on that looks interesting. Shows where you have to watch every week or the storyline/characters don't make any sense aren't as appealing. Might be busy doing something or not home to watch every week. I don't consider game shows or cooking shows as a 'series' but apparently some do. Lost track of how many shows now look for gold/jade/buried treasure. All seem the same to me. Someone has a hunch they will find something, someone argues with the others or some piece of equipment breaks down......LOL. Watched the first few seasons of Oak Island and it seems like those doing the searching are good at getting the History Channel to keep funding their rambling search efforts. More like watching a soap opera where the last 15 minutes of each show they find 'something' of interest in an effort to get you to watch the next episode. Gave up on that series as they have never found anything of real value and just keep digging more holes in the ground in search of whatever they are 'sure' is out there.

I agree. As I lost cable 7 years ago and never looked to find it again when I could, I realize I prefer to wait until something is finished with at least the season and "bing watch" it. Currently waiting for Yellowstone so I can watch season 5 in it's entirety now that they seem to have jumped on the ridiculous Walking Dead mid-season break garbage. I think 1923 is finished so I can watch that. You on Netflix just came out with season 4, but they only did 4 episodes and after a break just released the next 4, so I am watching that one now.

Not a fan of waiting 2 years for the next season either. I'm watching You, but gave up on Dead to Me which if I recall I enjoyed. Too much needing to rewatch to remember. I just finished watching the first 3 seasons of You so I could remember and watch season 4.

Probably just me but I have zero interest in watching Youtube.

There are a millions rabbit holes to go down on YouTube. My recommendation is to keep this attitude and just stay away. If you start watching YouTube you will get sucked in.

You have to seek out to find what you want to watch, then it's filled with things you want to watch rather than said rabbit holes to fall into.

It's practically all I watch and everything is something I am interested in whether it be cars, motorcycles, paddling, camping, bicycles, cooking....

Currently watching

Love, Edward
1923
Yellowstone
Finding Your Roots

Hi, I'm Praying Colonel and I'm a YouTubeaholic.
(Hi, Praying Colonel)

I watch way too much and subscribe to about 100 channels. I find some really neat stuff, but I also find it rots my attention span. I have to turn it off and read a book or do something that requires me to focus for longer than 5-10 minutes.

I agree with the others--just don't start. (But if you want some recommendations, send me a DM. :D )

I don't get to watch too much TV that I want to watch. My husband and son tend to monopolize the tv's. I do have a few HGTV series that I enjoy when they are new though.

HGTV now has WAY too many different series remodeling houses. I think they need to fill airtime and keep finding more people as the basis for yet another home remodeling show. While some of the remodeling is fun to watch, when the show becomes more about the personalities of those doing the remodeling, I lose interest.
