The last two nights DD20 and I watched Molly & Allen from Mammoth Club https://youtube.com/@mammoth_club?si=vDkbOwp2NvRBfAM3
tour The Disney Wish on a 3 day cruise. They do such a good job showing all the details, pointing things out that I would probably not notice and giving great reviews of the food. Naturally, we now want to go on this cruise, which we are now thinking about doing in March 2026. So I started thinking…..how many DISers have taken a Disney cruise. So share with us today……

Have you taken a Disney Cruise?
If yes…..which ship(s) have you sailed on?
If no……do you want to take a Disney Cruise?
(multiple choice)

For Me……We have taken one Disney Cruise and it was on The Magic in 2007. It was a 7 day cruise and we loved every minute of it. My girls were 9 & 4 at the time, so DD20 doesn’t remember it at all. So I guess I have to be a good parent and take her now so she can :goodvibes

Nope. I get motion sick in the bathtub and swimming pool. I can't ride Dumbo, even with a scopolomine patch AND meclizine. Cruises sound like fun, but that is a WHOLE lot of money to gamble against being grossly ill/incapacitated for a week!

PS... @slo, I think it's admirable for you to sacrifice your time, to take one for the team, and take Katie on a Disney cruise. Your selflessness is inspiring! :worship::rotfl2::thumbsup2

LOL!
I do what I can to earn my Mother’s Day card and gift :lmao:

We watched Mammoth Club's cruise videos two nights ago! I completely agree - they do such a good job showing things I didn't even know I wanted to see! I loved their honest review of Lookout Cay.
I haven't been on a Disney cruise, but I definitely want to. With three kids, the cost feels a bit overwhelming compared to other cruises. But, it seems like they have so much more to offer kids/families, so it's something I do want to prioritize at some point.

We went on Disney's Big Red Boat way back in the 1990's. It wasn't as fancy as the current Disney cruises but it was cheap. The package included three nights on the ship and three nights at the Beach Club. The best part of the trip for me was the resort part. It introduced us to the Beach Club and it became the only resort we would stay at for years. ;)

Love cruising !! Need to get on the Wish and Treasure!! Really want to book the Treasure as it sounds amazing !!! Will be booking a future cruise on my upcoming cruise and more than likely it’s going towards the Treasure!

Go for it SLO - sounds like great fun for you two !!!

We have sailed on all DCL ships, and will be on the Treasure in January. We enjoy cruising a lot. We are taking a cruise to Alaska on RCCL in August. This will be our third cruise to Alaska.

We are big cruisers and have been on 20 or so, but none of them DCL. Compared to other lines, the prices are just really unbelievable  and that makes it a NO for us.

We took the boys on the Disney Dream in 2013 when they were 4 and 6. Disney cruises got so dang expensive, though. We have taken 2 Carnival cruises since then and enjoyed them too. I would like to do another Disney one someday.

Love cruising.
Have been on Disney cruises........no Wonder or Wish. Booked the Treasure for March.
We have been on several other cruise lines also.
Next cruise RCCL to Alaska in Sept. Our 9th Alaska cruise!!

I have cruised with DH, the whole family, a friend, just DD, DD and the grand kids

I've never been on a Disney cruise and I don't think I ever will.

I'm not a fan of the short cruises, the (in my opinion) uninteresting itineraries, how expensive those short cruises are, and I know they're the main demographic for DCL but WAY too many kids for my liking. Something like Celebrity or Virgin would be more my style if I did go on a cruise.

We did an Eastern Caribbean on the Magic. It was not our intent to do a Disney cruise. We had done a HAL cruise to Alaska the year before which was our kids first cruise. My wife tried to book HAL on an Eastern Caribbean but they went Sunday to Sunday, and our work and kids school schedule dictated we needed a Saturday to Saturday cruise. We loved it. But it was the most expensive cruise we have ever taken and I guess some day we might go with our Granddaughters, but not sure their parents are interested. My DIL is not into Disney, and never lived more than 50 miles from Disneyland but NEVER went until she was an adult and went with our son. And she has been to WDW 5 times for conferences, and NEVER been in any of the parks.

I've never been on any sort of cruise. I don't think I ever will take a Disney cruise but never say never. I'm not that interested, tbh.

DW and I did an empty-nester cruise with another couple right after the Fantasy came online in 2012. It was a lot of fun and the ship was fabulous.

We did a WDW/DCL land-sea vacation with DS as a graduation present in 2016. Also fun but it felt like both the land and sea (3 nights at WDW, 3-night Bahamas cruise) were too short.

We probably won't do another DCL cruise--way too expensive now, IMHO. We might change our mind if we find a great deal.

Next cruise: 18 night repositioning cruise (Barcelona-Miami) in October-November. Very excited. I like cruising.

In December 1990, DH and I took a Premier Cruise Line cruise, which was affiliated with Disney -- they offered 3-4 nights on the cruise and then 4-3 nights at Disney. We took the 4 night cruise to the Abacos Out Islands.

So it wasn't branded Disney Cruise Line then, but there was some relationship. I don't even think the ship had a lot of Disney branding aboard it.

I've never done a Disney or large ship cruise. I have done 2 river cruises (about 170 passengers) and liked that. I don't think the large cruise ship cruising is for us, so I'm doubting we'll ever do one.

Been on cruises but never Disney and have no desire to. We spend our Disney money at Disney World. We’ve done cruises before Disney World trips before but not a Disney cruise. I’m very aware of everything Disney cruises offer and imo it’s not worth the huge amount of extra money it costs over other cruises. Like I said, we spend our “Disney money” at Disney World.
