Yummy yummy waffles!
They’re full of carbs, then those little squares get full of butter and syrup - such a wonderful circle of yumminess (is that even a word? LOL!). When I was at a hotel this past weekend, they had a waffle iron, and I love making hotel waffles, which is what inspired this poll. I was there 2 nights and had one waffle. There was a lacrosse team staying there, and when they were down for breakfast, there was no getting anywhere near that waffle iron - LOL! Since I spent so many years traveling with my daughter’s Softball Team, I understand how you stay away from the food area when the kids are there. The next morning I was able to get a waffle because of the fact that I got up earlier and went down there before the kids came. When I was traveling with my DD and team I, and the other coaches, always ate super early. Hotels needs about 5 of these waffle irons - LOL! Enough about hotel waffles, because we’re talking about all waffles today. So tell us today…….

Do you enjoy eating waffles?
If yes…..what type of waffles?
(multiple choice)

For Me……I do enjoy eating waffles. I don’t like them as much as pancakes, but I do enjoy them when there are no pancakes. I enjoy frozen waffles at home and hotel waffles. I do not own a waffle iron to make them at home. Sometimes I think I may want one, but then I think it’s just another thing I have to store. I rarely order them at restaurants since I prefer pancakes, and we don’t go out to breakfast much. I don’t know how it is by all of you, but around me it costs around $40 for the two of us to have a decent breakfast - I have such a hard time with that, especially when my DH makes a really darn good breakfast.

I'll eat an occasional Eggo waffle but I definitely prefer pancakes.

I like waffles, but rarely eat them, but I’m not a big breakfast person. My husband will buy a box of Eggo waffles a few times a year.

I know when we stay at Hampton Inns, that waffle maker is very popular.

Not a huge fan of waffles never have been I will eat them maybe once a year if somebody makes them
I have ordered them once in a restaurant which was just recently at DISNEY they were chocolate waffles and I’m here to say they were the best darn thing I’ve ever ate and I will be definitely ordering those again at the same restaurant because I could’ve ate my weight in those they were so delicious I think it has something to do with them being chocolate because again I’m not a huge fan of waffles
Because before that the only waffles that I would eat or homemade Belgian waffles and I don’t put syrup and butter on them I put strawberries

I know it's early in the poll but I seem to be the only person that doesn't like waffles!

I like waffles- they are OK, but I prefer them crispy so lean towards hotel waffles. I also prefer them with just butter, no syrup; I am not terribly sweet-oriented, especially at breakfast.
Until recently, I made a lot of frozen waffles every week as they were on the regular breakfast rotation for the LittleGuy. Unfortunately/happily, they have moved into their own house, so unless there's a sleepover, I don't envision making waffles very much anymore.

I love waffles, pancakes and French toast.......but I very rarely eat any of them.
Only home made, never frozen and never out.

I like waffles more than pancakes but we do eat pancakes more here at home. We do own a waffle iron and used it last week for breakfast for supper. We are in the south and I love to go to Waffle House and get pecan waffles. We do buy frozen waffles for those mornings when neither of us have anything else to eat for breakfast. My favorite waffle is a Belgian waffle.

Was that at Ale & Compass? I had them a few years ago and they were amazing! I am nit a huge pancakes or waffles person but will have once in a while as a breakfast for dinner or at a breakfast buffet on a trip.

I like waffles better than pancakes. We have a Mickey Mouse waffle iron. It's a tradition that I make Mickey waffles for the boys on the first snow day of the winter. I make them every few months in addition to that. The iron only makes one waffle at a time so it takes a while.

I like them okay, and have a waffle iron, but find it easier to make pancakes at home, that are just as good or better, IMO. If we go out for breakfast, it’s usually to a diner, where I sometimes get pancakes or challah french toast. I don’t care for frozen waffles, although DS liked them when he was young, and would sometimes have them as a quick meal before school. I do enjoy the hotel waffles that you mentioned, when they’re available.

I like waffles but rarely have them. I used to make Mickey waffles for the grandkids when they visited us. My daughter had given us the waffle maker. But lately I've only eaten Mickey waffles at WDW when DH and I share a bounty plater for breakfast. :)

I like waffles in all forms. We have this Cinderella waffle maker, which makes nice waffles (the bottom side is deep pockets, like a Belgian waffle).

I love waffles. I order them whenever we eat breakfast out; but I insist that the server bring it to me as soon as it is ready and with soft butter. Waffles get cold quickly.

I do like waffles.
Chicken and Waffles is great.
I do lots of variations of waffles as well - for example I use the leftover stuffing from thanksgiving to make a stuffing waffle to use as the bread of an open face turkey sandwich the next day with leftovers.

I recently had a pizza Croissant Waffle at Universal - its decent

You can do a lot with waffles.

I love waffles and do not discriminate. All waffles have some kind of plus to me. I'm even all for using a waffle iron to make other things waffly.

Yes OMG 😱 they were delicious I mean I could’ve ate my weight in those I could not get over how delicious they were I was splitting them with my table mate and she literally said have them because I was enjoying them so much!! And I cannot stress to you how much I do not care for waffles but I absolutely loved them And their biscuits there were fabulous I think it’s one of the best breakfast buffets I’ve ever had at Disney the only one I liked better was the one they had at the California Grill which I wish so bad they would bring that back

I love waffles.
I like them better than pancakes.
Its unfortunate that more restaurants don't offer waffles.
At this point I only get them if I make them at home, make them at a hotel, or go to Waffle House (the closest one is 3+ hours away so they doesn't happen much).
