Yummy yummy waffles!
They’re full of carbs, then those little squares get full of butter and syrup - such a wonderful circle of yumminess (is that even a word? LOL!). When I was at a hotel this past weekend, they had a waffle iron, and I love making hotel waffles, which is what inspired this poll. I was there 2 nights and had one waffle. There was a lacrosse team staying there, and when they were down for breakfast, there was no getting anywhere near that waffle iron - LOL! Since I spent so many years traveling with my daughter’s Softball Team, I understand how you stay away from the food area when the kids are there. The next morning I was able to get a waffle because of the fact that I got up earlier and went down there before the kids came. When I was traveling with my DD and team I, and the other coaches, always ate super early. Hotels needs about 5 of these waffle irons - LOL! Enough about hotel waffles, because we’re talking about all waffles today. So tell us today…….
Do you enjoy eating waffles?
If yes…..what type of waffles?
(multiple choice)
For Me……I do enjoy eating waffles. I don’t like them as much as pancakes, but I do enjoy them when there are no pancakes. I enjoy frozen waffles at home and hotel waffles. I do not own a waffle iron to make them at home. Sometimes I think I may want one, but then I think it’s just another thing I have to store. I rarely order them at restaurants since I prefer pancakes, and we don’t go out to breakfast much. I don’t know how it is by all of you, but around me it costs around $40 for the two of us to have a decent breakfast - I have such a hard time with that, especially when my DH makes a really darn good breakfast.
