I much prefer regular rice. I grew up in an area where the starches we ate were potatoes, corn and once in a while spaghetti. Rice was something exotic and I still feel that way a little when I eat it.

But riced cauliflower is a good way to get some extra veggies into a meal. I prefer it roasted in the oven with some olive oil, salt and pepper.

I try to eat a lot of vegetables and decrease carbs so I use it in place of rice. I haven’t tried it on it’s own and probably wouldn’t like much alone.
I typically make fajita bowls. Onion, peppers, spices and either chicken or blacks beans. Add cauliflower rice instead of wraps or rice. Or I‘ll make chicken and broccoli with teriyaki sauce over it.

Often make and enjoy "riced" fresh cauliflower to create carb free meals.
Not seen frozen alternatives here in the UK.

I've never had it, and when I brought it up to my family as a maybe buy, I was vetoed.

It was just ok as is. But I agree with previous posters who said sautéed in a little olive with some spices added does help it.

I lov it. I can't each much rice, so I use it in place, like for burrito bowls, fried "rice," as a base for ginger stir fry, etc. I buy it fresh... used to be able to get bags of fresh riced cauliflower at the grocery store, but I haven't found that in my new state. So I rice my own.

I do like cauliflower to begin with, so that helps, and I absolutely love cauliflower pizza (cauliflower crust and cauliflower as a topping.)

I'm diabetic so I use it instead of rice w/Chinese takeout.
I could not eat it plain but it's fine when mixed in w/dinner.
The texture is not the same as rice, though.

I have never tried it, but I would like to. I actually like cauliflower so it isn't a big stretch for me.

I enjoy cauliflower rice. However, we like the microwave steamy frozen bags rather than the shelf stable variety.

Have no intention of trying it, unless someone else makes it and there it is.

I went on the bandwagon and made "mock mashed potatoes" when it was the rage to make mashed potatoes with cauliflower as a sub for potatoes. Maybe I have a more sensitive palate, but I could still taste the bitterness of the cauliflower. I had to use so much butter to hide the taste, that it was unhealthy due to that much saturated fat added.
