Monkey bread (also known by other names including plucking cake, pull-apart bread, and bubble bread) is a soft, sweet, sticky pastry served for breakfast or as a treat. It consists of pieces of soft baked dough sprinkled with cinnamon. Often a midmorning/breakfast food. It is often served at fairs and festivals.

Monkey Bread once a year and that’s on Christmas Day. The reason I thought of this topic today is because I just wrote the ingredients on my grocery list for tomorrow’s shopping day. My DH makes this every Christmas Day, so it’s a tradition and part of a special breakfast. I dont want to eat it other times of the year, because then it wont be as exciting to have on Christmas Day
